i am from Maharashtra if i scored 410-420 marks in neet 2021 obc category then can i get any government college for bams or mbbs
Hello Aspirant,
As we go through previous year's (2019) cut-off then it shows that in 2019 the lowest cut-off marks was 521 for MBBS seat in Government Medical College and Hospital, Jalgaon under state quota for OBC category and in 2020 we saw an increase of cut-offs and it was around 30-50 marks at institutional level so now if you are going to appear for NEET 2021 then you should try to score at least 560 marks out of 720 in NEET to secure MBBS seat in government medical college of Maharashtra under 85% state quota. Now on such marks you have some chances to get BAMS colleges in Maharashtra but it would hardly be government because government colleges for BAMS require at least 500 marks in NEET.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

Can I use mu NEET 2019 result for admission for B.Sc nusring course in 2021.
No, you cannot get admission in BSC nursing on the basis of score obtained by you in NEET 2019.
This is because,
For admission in India marks obtained by you in neet is valid for only one year i.e it is valid only the year in which you attempt the exam.
So, if you had passed your Neet in 2019 then your marks was valid for taking admission in 2019 only in India .
But yes,
Marks obtained by you in neet is valid for 3 years for taking admission in medical colleges abroad for mbbs/bds , but not for nursing.
Actually, neet is not an entrance examination for BSc nursing, Neet is mandatory for MBBS and BDS and also accepted for Ayush courses like bams BHMS and for veterinary i. e bvsc.
Maharashtra does accept neet marks for BSC nursing but even in Maharashtra not all college provide admission in BSC nursing through Neet examination
For example,
Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing is in Maharashtra and it provides admission through its own entrance examination called All India Allied Health Common Entrance Test (AIAHCET) conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune.
You have tagged Manipal University,
It provides admission in bsc nursing on the basis of marks obtained by you in aggregate of PCBE i. e physics chemistry biology and English in 12th board examination and to be eligible for filling the form you need to pass 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45 % aggregate marks in PCBE
You can check the same at its official page the link is provided below
https://manipal.edu/content/dam/manipal/mu/documents/Admissions/adm2021/2021_UG_Eligibility_Admission_Process.pdf
Thank you
im studying 2nd BSC i got schloarship in 1st BSC if I cracked neet and got admission in medical College mbbs can i eligible for 1st year mbbs scholarship
Hello Aspirant,
See it is not necessary that you will get the same scholarship for MBBS course, which you were getting earlier during your B.Sc course, the reason being is it depends upon the scholarship scheme which you are availing because different scholarship schemes have different criteria and if you are availng any government scholarship scheme then there are much possibilities that your scholarship will be continued for your MBBS course as well but if you are availing any private sector scholarship then there would be some complications or there might not be any provision of this and also if you are availing the scholarship offered by your college authorities than it will get discontinued as you leave the college and cancel your admission from it. There is no any government provision through which the scholarships can be given to the MBBS persons on the basis of their NEET score, but yes there are some central government scholarship schemes as well as some state government scholarship schemes for which you can register yourselves when you will get enrolled for MBBS course.
