About AEEL 2024

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts the Amrita Entrance Examination- Life Sciences, Agriculture and Medical Sciences (AEEL). AEEL is a common entrance examination conducted to offer admission to various courses under Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Biotechnology and other streams.

As per the latest update, the AEEL entrance exam is tentatively scheduled for May 18 to 19, 2024. The examination will be held in computer-based mode across 57 cities in the country. A total of 80 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English will be asked in the entrance exam. Candidates will have to answer the questions in 2 hours. As per the AEEL marking scheme, 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

AEEL will be conducted for the students passing out after their +2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects. Candidates wishing to join programmes offered in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Biotechnology and other related streams will have to appear for the examination to secure admission to the respective programme.

Through AEEL, admission will be granted to BSc. (Hons.) Food Science and Nutrition, BSc. (Hons.) Agricultural Sciences, BSc. (Hons.) Forensic Science, BSc. Biotechnology/ Microbiology, B.Pharm/ Pharm D, BSc. Allied Sciences (all specialisations) and BSc. Nursing courses.

AEEL 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to get admission to life sciences, agriculture and medical sciences courses must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.

The candidate must have been born on or after July 1, 2001.

Educational Qualifications

The candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology separately and 60% aggregate marks in PCB.

Mode of Application : Online

The registration process for AEEL 2024 can be done either online or offline. The detailed process has been described below.

AEEL 2024 Online Registration Process

  • Registration: Visit the online registration portal at amrita.edu/aeel and enter basic details such as a valid email ID, contact number, and more. After successful registration, a confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email ID.

  • Filling out the application form: Complete the application form by entering the personal details. Candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature as per the specification.

  • Qualification details: The next step is to complete the academic profile by entering the marks of the qualifying examination and year, last attended school and other details.

  • Upload the documents: Candidates will then have to upload the essential documents on the portal.

  • Fee payment: Pay the online fee using net banking/credit card/debit card.

AEEL 2024 Offline Registration Process

  • Candidates filling offline AEEL 2024 application form will have to complete the OMR sheet.

  • The filled OMR application form needs to be sent to the university along with the Demand Draft.

  • Data of all the OMR applications received are entered online in the OMR link of the web portal.

  • Candidates can log in with their application number and date of birth and can fill in their remaining data.

  • Once the remaining data is filled, the application will be treated as complete for further processing.

Steps to Download AEEL 2024 Result

  • Visit the official website if AEEL

  • Click on the result link displayed on the screen

  • Enter the application number and password

  • The result of AEEL will be displayed on the screen

  • Download and take a printout of it.

AEEL 2024 Cutoff

The authorities will publish the AEEL 2024 cutoff after the declaration of the result. The AEEL cutoff 2024 will include the opening and closing ranks of the candidates. Candidates qualifying for the minimum cutoff will get admission to a specified course at different campuses of the institute.
