Goa MBBS Merit List 2019 - The Directorate of Technical Education, Bardez, has released the final Goa MBBS merit list on July 3, 2019. Earlier, the authority had released the provisional Goa MBBS merit list of Goa MBBS on July 2. The link to download the provisional Goa MBBS/BDS 2019 merit list is available on this page. Candidates included in the eligibility list must produce the relevant documents as mentioned in the remarks section on or before July 1. Along with online publishing of the merit list of Goa MBBS 2019, it will also be put on the notice board at the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim. The candidates who have successfully submitted the Goa MBBS application form are considered for the Goa MBBS merit list 2019. It is essential for the students to qualify NEET UG in order to be considered for the merit list of Goa MBBS 2019. The Goa MBBS merit list 2019 gives information about the eligibility status of the students for the further admission process. All the details regarding Goa MBBS 2019 merit list can be checked here. The students are not informed about the release of Goa MBBS merit list individually. The students are called to participate in Goa MBBS counselling 2019 according to the merit list.

Procedure to check the Goa MBBS BDS Merit List 2019

  • The merit list of Goa MBBS 2019 will be made available in downloadable pdf format.

  • Candidates will be required to click on the link which will be made available here as and when the Goa MBBS merit list is released.

  • After clicking on the link, Goa MBBS 2019 merit list will be displayed on the screen.

  • Candidates will be able to find their name on the list with the help of their application number or the NEET 2019 Roll Number

  • Goa MBBS merit list 2019 can be downloaded and verified by the candidates.

  • A print of the merit list can also be taken by the candidates for further rounds.

Goa MBBS BDS Cutoff 2019

Goa MBBS BDS Merit List 2019 – Tiebreaker

In case of clash of eligibility between candidates, there are three ways of tie-breaking. These tie breakers will be applied in cases wherein two or more candidates have the same score in NEET 2019. The tie-breakers are as given below -

  • Tiebreaker 1- The candidate who has scored more marks in Biology subject will be placed on a higher merit than the other candidates.

  • Tiebreaker 2- If the tie still persists, the candidate with more marks in Chemistry subject will be picked.

  • Tiebreaker 3- In case the tie still resists, candidate who has less number of attempted incorrect answers in NEET 2019 will be preferred over other candidates.

  • Tiebreaker 4- If the above three tiebreakers fail to resolve the clash, then the candidate with higher Date of Birth (DOB) will be preferred over all other candidates.

Goa MBBS BDS Merit List 2019 - Highlights

Candidates whose names will appear in the merit list of Goa MBBS 2019 will be eligible for the further admission process. This does not ensure a seat in Goa MBBS admission 2019. Check below the salient features of Goa MBBS 2019 merit list -

  • Goa MBBS merit list 2019 will consist of details like application number, category, name, gender, Class 12 seat no., date of birth, Class 12 score, NEET score, qualifying score and eligibility status.

  • The merit list of Goa MBBS 2019 will be released in online mode.

  • The information about the Goa MBBS 2019 merit list is not given to the candidates individually.

Goa MBBS BDS Counselling 2019

The counselling for Goa MBBS BDS admission 2019 is going to be conducted on July 4 to July 5, 2019. It will be conducted in offline mode only. There will be a total of three rounds of Goa MBBS counselling 2019 which includes a mop-up round. Since, the admissions are done on the basis of merit-cum-preference, wherein for merit NEET UG 2019 score is considered and for preference the choices submitted in the counselling process are considered, therefore, it is suggested to submit preferences as per the NEET 2019 score. The result of Goa MBBS counselling 2019 will be released in the form of the seat allotment list.

does 10th marks matter for neet

Greetings!

No your 10th marks is not taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination, it is your marks in class 12th which is taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination.

You can check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You must have passed in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of
50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

  • There's no upper age limit for neet 2020.

  • There's no attempt limit for neet examination.

Code 07 says: Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.

Himanshu, if you are from Karnataka, your code will be 03. Code 03 says: The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.

But if you are not from Karnataka, your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

It will be 05. Code 05 says: The first year of the three years degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.
