Goa MBBS merit list 2025: Tie-breaker criteria

If two or more candidates score equal marks in the NEET 2025 examination, the authorities will apply the following tie-breaker criteria to resolve ties.

• A candidate scoring higher marks in the NEET Biology section will be placed higher in the Goa MBBS merit list.

• If the tie still remains, a candidate with higher scores in NEET Chemistry 2025 will be placed higher.

• In case the tie persists, a candidate with a lesser number of incorrect answers will be given a higher position in the Goa NEET 2025 merit list.

• At last, seniority in age will be used to resolve the ties in the merit list of Goa MBBS 2025.

Candidates with their names on the Goa MBBS 2025 merit list will be called for the state counselling procedure. The Goa NEET counselling 2025 will be conducted in online mode.
