Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi conducts the NEET 2024 counselling for IPU MBBS 2024 admission. The authority will release stray vacancy round counselling result of IPU NEET UG counselling 2024 on October 29. The registrations for stray vacancy round counselling were closed on October 28.
Only NEET exam-qualified candidates are eligible for IPU MBBS/BDS admission. A total of 555 MBBS and 50 BDS seats will be granted through IPU NEET admission. GGSIPU will be responsible for IPU MBBS admission 2024 for 85% state quota seats.
The admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in IPU MBBS/BDS seats will be granted through NEET 2024 counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). To apply for admission of IPU NEET 2024 students will have to fill out the online application form. A merit list mentioning the names of shortlisted candidates for IPU MBBS admission 2024 will be released on the official website. Those selected will be eligible for IPU NEET counselling 2024. To apply for IPU MBBS admission, students will have to register themselves at the official website. The IPU NEET application form can be filled in an online mode at ipu.ac.in.
Registration - While filling the IPU MBBS application form students will have to register using their personal and contact details. To register, students will have to enter their name, DOB, nationality, category, parents’ name, email address, mobile number, and complete address.
Uploading of documents - After registration, students will be asked to upload their photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the IPU MBBS application form.
Filling the academic details - Candidates will be asked to enter their academic details for classes 10 and 12.
Login - After entering all details, a login ID and password will be issued to the candidate.
Payment of application fee - After logging in, students will have to choose the course (MBBS/BDS) they wish to apply for followed by payment of the application fee of Rs 1,000.
The IPU MBBS application form fee can be paid in an online mode using credit/debit card/net banking.
Printout - After submission, candidates should take two to three printouts of the IPU MBBS application form for future reference.
After submission of the IPU MBBS application form, the authority will publish a merit list. The IPU NEET merit list 2024 will be published at the official website in the form of a PDF. The merit list will mention the names of candidates eligible for IPU NEET admission. Authority will prepare the IPU MBBS/BDS merit list based on NEET 2024 marks. The merit list of IPU MBBS 2024 will mention candidate's name, DOB, gender, category, and NEET rank. Those included in the IPU MBBS 2024 merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for IPU NEET 2024 counselling. The counselling of IPU MBBS will be conducted in an online mode. GGSIPU will conduct two rounds of IPU NEET counselling 2024 followed by a spot round in case of vacant seats. During IPU MBBS counselling, students will be asked to register and fill in their preferences for courses and colleges. Based on the choices filled by candidates for IPU NEET admission 2024, the authority will conduct seat allotment. Students who will be allotted seats during counselling of IPU MBBS 2024 will have to report to the allotted institute for admission. Candidates should carry the following documents at the time of reporting for IPU MBBS/BDS admission.
