ipu-mbbs-admissionIPU MBBS Admission 2017 - Common counselling for admission in Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme for the State of Delhi will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University between July 16 and July 24, 2017. The University will not conduct any Common Entrance Test (CET), and candidates willing to take admission in MBBS will be selected on the basis of their score and rank in the Merit List for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 which was released on July 11. IPU MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2017

  • Candidate should be a resident of India or Nepal. Non Resident Indians and foreign nationals are not eligible to apply.

  • He/she should be 17 years old on or before December 31 of the year of his admission to the first year.

  • Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (core/elective/functional) individually with at least 50 per cent marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category).

  • All candidates were required to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate of 2017 (NEET UG 2017) and qualify to be considered for admissions.

IPU MBBS Application Form 2017

 

Candidates can submit Application Form of IPU MBBS BDS Admission 2017 only through online mode from February 15 onwards. The non-refundable application fee is of Rs.1000 excluding processing charges and taxes, as applicable. The last date for submitting the form is July 7 till 4 PM.

 

Applicants must enter their NEET 2017 roll number and other details in the IPU MBBS Online Application Form 2017. General Information column of the application form comprises of following sections-

  • Contact details

  • Uploading photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression

IPU MBBS BDS Cutoff 2017

 

Candidates can check below the cutoff list for various categories-

IPU MBBS Selection Criteria 2017

 

It is mandatory for applicants to appear and qualify in NEET 2017 that was conducted on May 7.

 

IPU MBBS Counselling 2017

  • Counselling of IPU MBBS BDS 2017 will be done on the basis of candidates’ merit in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, and they will be offered seats available at that time.

  • Counselling will take place as per the dates instructed by the Medical Council of India, between July 16 and July 24. 

  • At the time of reporting, candidates are required to produce their original certificates along with once set of photocopies attested by a gazetted officer or from principal of school/college last attended or self attested.

  • The head of the institution, where the candidate has taken admission, will again verify the original documents for ensuring the eligibility. These certificates will be returned. 

  • Those, who are admitted during first round of counselling, are required to report at the respective colleges within the specified period.
