ACPUGMEC prepares the Gujarat MBBS 2022 merit list on the basis of scores obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET exam. Candidates who have registered for Gujarat NEET admission 2022 and fulfil the eligibility criteria are included in the merit list. The Gujarat MBBS merit list 2022 mentions the roll number, general merit rank, All India Rank (AIR), NEET scores and percentile, name of candidates and remarks.

Only aspirants included in the Gujarat NEET UG merit list will be called for the counselling process. Based on the Gujarat state merit rank, a total of 5,650 MBBS and 1,340 BDS seats will be done in medical and dental colleges. Gujarat MBBS counselling 2022 will be held for admission to 85% state quota seats, while the remaining 15% seats in government colleges will be reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) candidates. Tie-Breaking Procedure of Gujarat MBBS 2022 merit list

In a situation where one or more candidates secure the same scores in the Gujarat MBBS state merit rank, the authority will follow specific tie-breaking criteria mentioned below.

Tie-breaking mechanism

• Tie-Breaker 1 - Candidates with a higher grant total in Class 12 will be considered for better rank in the state rank list.
• Tie-Breaker 2 - If the tie is still there, then aspirants who secured higher marks in Biology in Class 12 will be allotted a better rank.
• Tie-Breaker 3 - If the tie still persists, then the candidate who secures higher marks in Physics in Class 12 will be ranked higher than others.
• Tie-Breaker 4 - If the tie still does not resolve, then candidates with better marks in English in the qualifying exam will be given a better rank for Gujarat MBBS admission 2022.
• Tie-Breaker 5 - Aspirants with higher aggregate marks in Class 10 will be allotted a higher rank in the state merit list.
• Tie-Breaker 6 - In the end, the candidate who is older in age will be placed at a higher merit position.
