The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the application form for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The authority provides the opportunity to the registered candidates to make corrections in the application form by opening the NEET correction window 2025. Candidates can make corrections in the NEET application form through correction window within the stipulated time period. The NEET 2025 correction window is the single opportunity for making any corrections in the application form and no further opportunity is provided to make corrections.

To use NEET correction window 2025, candidates have to use NEET candidate login 2025 and enter the NEET application number, password, and security code. Go to the official website: neet.ntaonline.in
Click on the ‘NEET candidate login’ link
Enter the application number and password received while registering for NEET 2025
A message to change images in the form is displayed on the screen
Upload the correct passport size photographs and signature
After submitting the corrections, an OTP is sent to the registered mobile number
Download the correction slip for future reference

There may be chances that candidates do not receive any mail or SMS from NTA regarding the discrepancy in the NEET application form. Candidates are therefore advised to log in through NEET candidate login 2025 and check all details in their form. Cross verifying each and every detail entered with the certificates ensures that all particulars entered are correct. In case there is any mistake, then they can immediately do correction through NEET 2025 correction window facilities.

Step 1: Click on the link available on this page
Step 2: Enter the application number, password and security code
Candidates must login by entering their application number, password and security pin.
Step 3: Then, click on the link stating ‘Correction in Application Form’
Step 4: Verify with OTP to proceed for correction in NEET UG application form
Step 5: In the application form, students can edit/delete/modify the following details through NEET application correction guide 2025:

Once all the corrections in the NEET application form 2025 are done, aspirants need to click on the submit button. In case for more corrections, click on the ‘back’ button or select the ‘preview and submit’ option for successful submission.
Note: It must be noted that the changes once submitted cannot be changed, therefore, aspirants need to be careful during modifications.
Step 6: Cross-check the edited fields in the preview section. On the preview page, the corrections made in NEET 2025 application are displayed in ‘Red’ colour with the modification done. After verifying, enter the One Time Password (OTP) received in the mobile number and email ID, then, click on ‘final submit’.
Once the final submission is done, a pop-up message stating, “This is a one-time correction facility. No corrections are allowed after final submission.” Candidates can proceed by selecting the option ‘Yes, please do’. In case of some other edits, click on ‘oops! No option. Once the final submission is done, NTA do not entertain any request for NEET correction 2025.
Step 7: After the successful submission of the NEET application correction form 2025, candidates must take a printout of the correction slip. To take a printout, click on the link, ‘click here to print this page’ available in the blue font at the top of the screen.
In case of changes in the category, students are required to deposit the additional fees. The application fees should be submitted in online mode through net banking or debit/credit cards on or before the last date of the correction window.
Candidates can take the printout of NEET correction slip 2025 by logging in using their credentials and clicking on the link, ‘Click here to take the printout of correction slip’.

Sometimes, all such documentation consistencies go very important to the concern, and they might find this as trouble for you. But does not say that your form will certainly be rejected, after all. Hence, to escape all of these complications,
Affidavit or Notarized Declaration: There could be an affidavit or a notarized declaration that these two names refer to the same person. This would enable a legal confirmation of identity.
Additional Supporting Documents: Collect all supporting documents like a passport and Aadhar card, which bear your mother's name as at least one of these two variations.
Contact the NEET Authorities: If possible, contact the authorities of NEET examinations or even check out the official guidelines so that discrepancies, if any, can be sorted out well in advance.
This helps avoid problems in the process of verification.

There is very least possibilities that Your mother's or father's Aadhar Card will be required at any step , so logically there should be no problem but sometimes they ask why there is discrepancy in names at yhe time of document verification if you have a reason then they take affidavit from you and you get admission.
Mostly 10th Marksheet is required as a date of birth proof these are very minor mistakes they will understand

For the NEET , the examination covers only three subjects:
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) . NEET does not include Mathematics (M) as part of its syllabus , so the exam is designed for students with a background in Biology along with Physics and Chemistry in 12th grade .
If you are preparing for NEET , you need to focus on PCB , as Mathematics is not for this exam . NEET is primarily aimed at medical and dental program admissions , so the focus is on Biology instead of a broader range of subjects like PCMB .
