The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi released the NORCET 8 application form at the official website: aiimsexams.ac.in. The authority started the AIIMS NORCET 8 registrations for the eligible candidates on February 24, 2025. Candidates could fill the application form of NORCET 8 till March 17, 2025.
AIIMS, New Delhi conducts the NORCET exam. The NORCET full form is the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test. Before filling the application form of AIIMS NORCET 8, candidates must first check the eligibility criteria. The AIIMS NORCET 8 eligibility criteria can be checked below.
Age: Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age. Age is calculated from the AIIMS NORCET application form last date.
NORCET qualification I:
Candidates must have completed BSc Nursing or BSc Nursing Post Basic from Indian Nursing Council/ state nursing council.
Candidates must be registered as Nurses and Midwife with the State/ Indian Nursing Council.
OR
NORCET qualification II:
Candidates must have completed a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council/ state nursing council.
Candidates must be registered as Nurses and Midwife with the State/ Indian Nursing Council.
Candidates must have two years of experience in 50 bedded hospital after securing the degree.
To fill the application form of NORCET 8, candidates must follow the below mentioned steps.
Visit the official website of AIIMS: aiimsexams.ac.in.
Under the important announcement section, click on the ‘NORCET 8’.
Fill in the required details to register for the NORCET 8 exam.
In the next step, fill qualification and address details.
Then, fill in the experience details.
Pay AIIMS NORCET 2025 application form fee.
Login again to select the preferred exam centres.
Upload the required images/ documents.
Save and take print out of the fill NORCET 2025 application form.

For NORCET 8 registration, select “NORCET - 8” under the “applying for” section.
Enter the personal details which include name of the candidate, father’s name, mother’s name, category, gender, ID proof, date of birth
Enter the contact details such as email ID and contact number.
Click on the checkbox of “declaration of eligibility” and then click on “save & proceed” button
A candidate ID and password is sent to the registered email ID.
Click on the “proceed” button, create a new password and click on the “update” button.
Enter the candidate ID and password in the “applicant login” window and login.
All the registration details are displayed on the screen. Candidates can either edit any details if it is wrong or they wish to change, or else click on the “Proceed” button.
Enter the qualifying exam that has been passed by the candidate and also provide the university and college name.
Enter the admission and passing dates of the qualifying exam
Click on “yes” on whether registered with the Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council.
Enter the registration number of the candidate with which he/she is registered with the Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council.
Select the name of the State Nursing Council and enter the date of issuance of registration number
Enter the permanent and correspondence address of the candidate and click on the “save & proceed” button.
Select whether the candidate has work experience or not. If “yes”, then enter all the working experience details
If the candidate doesn’t have any work experience, then click on the “No” and “Save & Proceed button”
Candidates need to pay the requisite AIIMS NORCET 8 application form fee through online mode. The AIIMS NORCET 2025 application fee can be checked from the table below.

After the application process is over, the authority opens the AIIMS NORCET 8 form correction window. The NORCET 8 correction window can be accessed by the registered candidates only. Candidates can make corrections in application form registration and basic candidates information within the specified dates of NORCET 8 correction window. No further opportunity is provided to make corrections in the NORCET 2025 application form.
Note: Candidates cannot change their category after the submission of NORCET 8 application form fees. Once the fee is submitted, the category entered cannot be changed during the correction window process.
