Hello,

The NEET cut-off marks for admission 2024 may vary from college to college, depending on their reserves. In this case, the admission to BPT may be done through different cut-offs in different colleges and categories. Normally, in some top government medical colleges, the cut-off rate may be high compared with private institutions.

For the general category, the cut-off may be between 250 and 400 marks based on the reputation of the college and its location. The reserved category candidates SC, ST, and OBC have relatively lower cut-offs within their categories at between 180 and 250 marks.

However, a few colleges have their own selection criteria and private colleges too provide BPT seats based on the entrance exams conducted by the college or lower NEET cut-offs. It is recommended that aspiring candidates refer to the official notifications issued by the concerned institutions for exact cut-off requirements. Usually, a score of 250+ enhances the possibilities of getting admission into a respectable BPT course.

Hey there,

Several central government exams align closely with the NEET syllabus, as they cover subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Here are some of them:

  1. AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam : Although AIIMS MBBS has merged with NEET, this exam historically had a similar syllabus and still reflects NEET's focus.

  2. JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam : JIPMER used to conduct its entrance exam, which also had a similar structure and syllabus to NEET. Now, admissions are based on NEET scores.

  3. ICAR AIEEA (UG) : This exam is for admission to agricultural courses at undergraduate levels. It includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics, which overlap with NEET subjects.

  4. AFMC MBBS : The Armed Forces Medical College uses NEET scores but may have additional criteria, aligning with the NEET syllabus.

  5. Veterinary Sciences Entrance Exams : Many state and central exams for veterinary science courses (like AIPVT) also have a NEET-like syllabus.

These exams offer opportunities in fields related to medicine, agriculture, and veterinary sciences, with similar preparation to NEET.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

To improve your Physics score in NEET within the next 7 months, focus on a strategic and disciplined approach:

1. **Strengthen Concepts**: Ensure you have a solid grasp of fundamental Physics concepts. NCERT is your primary resource. After understanding the theory, try applying it to problems. Break down complex topics like Mechanics, Electrodynamics, and Optics into simpler parts.

2. **Practice Regularly**: Consistent problem-solving is crucial. Start with easy problems to build confidence, then gradually increase the difficulty. Solve NEET-level questions daily, focusing on time management.

3. **Analyze Mistakes**: After every test or practice session, review your mistakes carefully. Identify patterns—are you making conceptual errors, calculation mistakes, or misinterpreting questions? This analysis helps in targeted improvement.

4. **Use Formula Sheets**: Create a formula sheet for quick revision. Regularly revise key formulas, derivations, and shortcuts. Understanding how to apply formulas is more important than rote memorization.

5. **Mock Tests & Time Management**: Take full-length mock tests in timed conditions. Simulate exam pressure, and track your progress. Work on speed and accuracy.

6. **Seek Help**: If specific topics are consistently challenging, seek guidance from teachers, online resources, or coaching. Sometimes a different explanation can make a concept clearer.

Stay persistent, and with focused effort, you can improve your Physics score.

hope this helps you!!
