The admission authority has also released the list of candidates who have been allotted PG medical and dental seats under All India Quota/ Central Universities /Deemed Universities; such candidates are not eligible for further counselling in the state. Additionally, the admission conducting authority has also released guidelines for mop-up round which will be held from May 4-8.
The revised category and rank lists for Kerala PG MDS 2019 was released on April 21. The category and state merit lists have been revised to accommodate lowered qualifying cutoff for MDS program, which was announced by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India on April 3. Based on the scores obtained in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam, aspirants will be granted admission to government and private medical colleges located in the state. Only candidates who meet the certain eligibility criteria set by CEE, Kerala will be considered eligible to participate for admission to Kerala PG medical 2019. A total of 383 MD/MS and 79 PG Diploma seats will be offered through Kerala PG medical admission under 50% state quota seats. Last year there were 307 MD/MS seats, and 79 PG Diploma seats.
The remaining 50% seats from all government medical colleges will be reserved for candidates selected under All India Quota (AIQ) scheme. These 50% AIQ seats will be filled on the basis of NEET PG scores by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Under AIQ, there are 342 PG Degree (MD/MS) seats, and 81 PG Diploma seats.
It was mandatory for eligible aspirants to register online for admission to Kerala PG medical admission. Only aspirants whose applications are accepted by the authority will be eligible to proceed for admission process. Kerala PG 2019 dental seat allotment result for phase II has been announced on April 29; seat allotment for medical courses for round 2 was announced earlier on April 26. The allotment has been based on the merit rank of the candidate in the revised state merit list and also choices filled for admission. Allotted candidates are required to report at allotted college from April 30- May 3 and complete admission formalities, including verification of documents. The seat allotment and cutoff for Phase I was released on April 7.
Choice filling for round 2 Kerala PG medical counselling was open from April 20-25. Only candidates who are not allotted seats in the first round but have provided their preferences of colleges, as well as courses, will be eligible to appear for Kerala PG medical counselling 2019 round two. In case, if there will be any vacant seats left after the second round, then CEE will organise a mop-up round of counselling. All the candidates irrespective of their categories can participate in the mop-up round of counselling of Kerala PG medical 2019.
The counselling of Kerala PG medical 2019 is held in online mode for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses offered by government and private medical colleges of Kerala. Seats will be allotted through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Aspirants included in the merit list and who have registered for Kerala PG medical admission will be eligible for Kerala PG medical 2019 counselling. For participating in the counselling procedure, candidates have to fill and lock their choices of colleges and courses through the link which will be provided on this page. Based on these choices filled, Kerala state rank and availability of seats, candidates will be granted admission to Kerala PG medical 2019. In case, if aspirants do not provide and lock the choices then, they will not be allotted seats.
The competent authority has issued a notice regarding the physical examination of candidates belonging to PwD category. Such candidates are required to report to at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical college campus, Director's office at 10 AM on March 30, 2019. All such candidates will be issued an information memo issued by the authority which has to be brought to the physical examination at the stipulated time. Only registered candidates who have qualified NEET PG are included in the merit list of Kerala PG medical 2019. Before filling the application form, it becomes important for candidates to go through the eligibility conditions set by the authority. The basic Kerala PG medical eligibility criteria has been mentioned below.
Candidates must have MBBS degree or pass certificate issued by medical college recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI).
Aspirants should have completed 12 months rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2019, also they must possess the completion certificate.
The eligible candidates should be registered with the MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) and must furnish the registration certificate during registration.
Candidates should either be an Indian origin, or a person of Kerala origin, or a Person of Indian Origin(PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) with roots in Kerala.
Aspirants who are wards of non-Keralite parents but have completed their MBBS from the medical colleges in the state and have opted for Kerala as their domicile will also be eligible for Kerala PG medical admission 2019.

CEE, Kerala has released the application form of Kerala PG medical on March 19, 2019. Only the eligible candidates can participate in online registrations. Aspirants who will fill and submit the application form within the last date will be allowed for further admission process. Aspirants will be required to register themselves using the link provided on this page by using their NEET PG testing ID, roll number and date of birth.
