Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

Yes, you can get admission in BPT through private colleges that accept MHT CET PCB scores, but not through NEET-based government colleges.

If you got 36 percentile in NEET 2025, then you are not eligible for BAMS admission. To get a seat in BAMS, you must score at least 50 percentile if you are from general category, and at least 40 percentile if you belong to SC, ST, or OBC category.

Since your percentile is below these required marks, you cannot get admission into BAMS this year. You will need to try again next year with better preparation to qualify.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can appear for the NEET 2026 exam even if you are giving your HSC (Class 12) improvement exam next year, as long as you meet the required eligibility criteria by the time of admission. NEET eligibility requires that a candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% marks in PCB for the General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwD. Since you have passed the HSC exam but did not meet the eligibility marks, you are allowed to improve your score and still apply for NEET. The National Testing Agency (NTA) allows students to appear for NEET if they are reappearing for improvement, provided the final result submitted during counselling fulfills all conditions. Therefore, once your improved marks are declared and if they meet the eligibility cut-off, you will be considered fully eligible for NEET counselling and MBBS/BDS admission.

All the best for your neet exam.

With 148 marks in NEET 2025, getting a seat in a government BDS college is very unlikely because the cutoff is usually much higher. You may still have a chance at a private or deemed dental college, especially under reservation categories like OBC, SC, or ST. Some colleges allow admission around 140–150 marks, mostly in later rounds with higher fees.

Keep an eye on your state’s AYUSH or dental counselling portal. When counselling opens, apply and fill in your choices. You can also look into BAMS or BHMS courses as alternatives since their cutoff is lower.

Hello,

A BDS seat at a Government Medical College is extremely unlikely to be obtained with a NEET 2025 score of 248. Generally speaking, government BDS seats demand much higher marks, depending on the state and category. It's not a certainty, but there maybe few opportunities at some private universities, particularly those with the greater tuition or in less competitive areas.
