After completing your tenth grade education in Telangana, you can take the B-Tech entrance exam if you decide to enrol in a polytechnic that offers MBIPC (Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry). MBIPC also covers chemistry and biology, which are crucial for NEET. However, finishing 12th grade with physics, chemistry, and biology is necessary to be eligible for NEET. Unless you finish your 12th grade separately, a polytechnic diploma program might not qualify you for NEET. Diploma holders may sit for lateral entry exams for B-Tech programs. Therefore, you must finish your 12th grade with the necessary subjects in order to write the NEET; if it's a 12th stream and not just polytechnic, MBIPC can help.

Depending on your category and the particular college, your NEET score should ideally be higher than 400 in order to be admitted to a government BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college in 2025. For example, the top BAMS government colleges' closing ranks in 2024 varied from roughly 25,000 to 45,000, which corresponded to NEET scores in the 500–600 range for the general category. Scores in the 400–500 range corresponded to closing ranks of up to 70,000 for reserved categories such as SC, ST, and OBC. However, depending on variables like the volume of applications, seat availability, and exam difficulty, these numbers may change each year. Aiming for a score higher than 400 would therefore increase your chances of getting accepted into a government BAMS college.

Great question! To clarify, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and CNET (Computer Network Engineering Test) — assuming you mean something like a computer networking certification or an exam — are quite different in their focus.
NEET preparation is focused primarily on biology, chemistry, and physics, aimed at medical entrance exams.
CNET (or any computer network engineering exam) is focused on computer networking concepts, like protocols, hardware, network design, security, and troubleshooting.
So, NEET preparation alone is NOT sufficient for a CNET exam because they cover completely different subjects.
