In India, it is not possible to pursue BDS without NEET. Candidates wishing to get admission in top BDS colleges will have to fulfil the required eligibility criteria.
Candidates must pass 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as compulsory subjects.
Aspirants must secure at least 50 per cent (unreserved candidates) in their qualifying exam in the above-mentioned subjects & 45 per cent for reserved categories.

BDS is a popular undergraduate degree program. To pursue BDS, candidates need to qualify NEET UG, which is conducted by the NTA. NEET is held for BDS admission in government or private medical colleges. However, candidates will not be able to pursue BDS without NEET. Students need to crack NEET and appear in the counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state authorities for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% state quota seats respectively.
