Manipur MBBS Admission 2019 - Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Manipur, the authority responsible for Manipur MBBS 2019 admission for admitting candidates to UG medical and dental colleges in the state has released mop-up round schedule and seat matrix for counselling on August 17. DHS Manipur had published mop-up round counselling schedule and seat matrix of mop-up round of counselling on August 5. A link to view the same is given below. All the candidates included in the select and waitlist are required to report at the Main Auditorium, JNIMS, Porompat, Manipur for round one of Manipur MBBS 2019 admissions on July 2 at 8:00 PM along with six passport size photographs, acknowledgement slip and other relevant certificates.

The merit list includes the names of candidates who are eligible to participate in Manipur MBBS 2019 counselling and seat allotment process, and contains information like the roll number and name of shortlisted candidate, category, total marks, NEET rank, and also state rank. Around 115 medical and 13 dental seats in member colleges is to be filled through Manipur MBBS admission process. The admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Manipur will be done on the basis of NEET scores only, so all applicants must have qualified NEET 2019. Candidates whose names appear in the category-wise merit lists are eligible for participation in the offline counselling process, which will have two normal rounds, followed by a mop-up round.

The counselling authority had released the select and waitlist of candidates with their respective categories on June 28, 2019. Candidates who have been included in both select and waitlist had to report at the counselling venue - Main Auditorium, JNIMS, Porompat, Manipur for round one of Manipur MBBS counselling 2019 on July 2 at 8:00 AM, along with six passport size photographs, original certificates and acknowledgement slip.

Admission authorities had released the merit list of Manipur MBBS 2019 on June 20. Manipur MBBS 2019 merit list is prepared based on NEET scores, so only those applicants who have qualified in the national-level exam are included in the list. Last year, the merit list was released category-wise. But this year, a consolidated merit list that has been released.
The Manipur MBBS 2019 state merit includes such details like the name of the candidate, roll number, merit rank, category, whether belongs to PH group, subject-wise and total marks obtained in qualifying exam, etc.
The eligibility criteria of Manipur MBBS BDS 2019 are the set of conditions that all candidates have to fulfill to be considered for admission. Among the important Manipur MBBS 2019 eligibility criteria the candidate has to meet include that of nationality, age limit, qualifying exam passed, and domicile requirements, as described below:
Nationality: The applicant needs to be an Indian citizen
Age criteria: The upper age limit is 17 years as on December 31, 2019. The upper age limit is however pending Supreme Court decision and will be updated in due course.
Domicile: The candidate need to be a resident of the state of Manipur. However, candidates of all NE state domicile, including Sikkim, can apply for admission to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences.
Qualifying exam: The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam scoring minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology(Biotechnology) taken together. The candidate also needs to have passed in each of these subjects and also English. Check table below for category-wise minimum marks:

Apart from meeting the above listed eligibility criteria, the applicant also needs to have qualified in NEET 2019. Any candidate without NEET qualification will under no circumstances considered for admission.

DHS Manipur had released the application form of Manipur MBBS BDS 2019 in online mode on June 7. Candidates desirous of admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in member colleges had to purchase the application forms from the Medical Directorate, Lamphelpat from June 7 to 14, 2019. Apsirants had to submit duly filled Manipur MBBS 2019 application form on or before June 20, 2019. The application form filling process would include steps like registration, filling of application form, uploading of essential documents, and payment of application cum counselling fee.
It is mandatory for all applicants to fill the Manipur MBBS application form, or else they will not be included in the merit list and so no longer will be considered for admission.
The counselling of Manipur MBBS 2019 will be conducted in offline mode on August 7 for mop-up round, for qualified and registered candidates only. Manipur MBBS 2019 counselling has two rounds, post which a manual mop-up round is held for filling vacant seats. The counselling process is open to those candidates that are included in the category-wise merit lists. The counselling process would include steps like document verification, option filling and seat allotment. All eligible candidates have to report for counselling at the assigned venue in person on scheduled day with originals and photocopies of all relevant documents.
The Manipur MBBS 2019 seat allotment process will be based on respective category-wise merit and options picked for admission.

The qualifying examination code for NEET 2020 for droppers is Code 2 if you finished your 12th under CBSE or ICSE or any other state board.
It will be code 3 if you have have completed 10+2 qualifying examination as PUC or pre-degree.
