Manipur MBBS Admission 2019 - Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Manipur, will conduct Manipur MBBS 2019 admission for admitting candidates to UG medical and dental colleges in the state. Some 115 medical and 13 dental seats in member colleges will be filled through Manipur MBBS admission process. The merit list for admission will be prepared based on NEET scores only, so all applicants must have qualified NEET 2019. The application form of Manipur MBBS 2019 will be available in online mode and commence around 1st week of June. The applicant must duly fill the application form and submit it before the last date. The application cum counselling fee of Manipur MBBS Admission 2019 is Rs. 500 (SC/ST candidates need to pay only Rs. 300).

The merit list of Manipur MBBS 2019 will be released around 3rd week of June. Candidates whose names appear in the category-wise merit lists are eligible for participation in the offline counselling process, which will have two normal rounds, followed by a mop-up round.

The eligibility criteria of Manipur MBBS BDS 2019 are the set of conditions that all candidates have to fulfill to be considered for admission. Among the important Manipur MBBS 2019 eligibility criteria the candidate has to meet include that of nationality, age limit, qualifying exam passed, and domicile requirements, as described below:
Nationality: The applicant needs to be an Indian citizen
Age criteria: The upper age limit is 17 years as on December 31, 2019. The upper age limit is however pending Supreme Court decision and will be updated in due course.
Domicile: The candidate need to be a resident of the state of Manipur. However, candidates of all NE state domicile, including Sikkim, can apply for admission to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences.
Qualifying exam: The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam scoring minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology(Biotechnology) taken together. The candidate also needs to have passed in each of these subjects and also English. Check table below for category-wise minimum marks:

Apart from meeting the above listed eligibility criteria, the applicant also needs to have qualified in NEET 2019. Any candidate without NEET qualification will under no circumstances considered for admission.

DHS Manipur will release the application form of Manipur MBBS BDS 2019 in online mode around the first week of June. Candidates desirous of admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in member colleges will have to submit duly filled Manipur MBBS 2019 application form before the last date. The application form filling process would include steps like registration, filling of application form, uploading of essential documents, and payment of application cum counselling fee.
It is mandatory for all applicants to fill the Manipur MBBS application form, or else they will not be included in the merit list and so no longer will be considered for admission.
Admission authorities will release the merit list of Manipur MBBS 2019 tentatively in the 3rd week of June. Manipur MBBS 2019 merit list will be prepared based on NEET scores, so only those applicants who have qualified in the national-level exam would be included in the list. Also, the merit lists would be available category-wise and include such details like the name of the candidate, roll number, merit rank, category, whether belongs to PH group, subject-wise and total marks obtained in qualifying exam, etc.

The counselling of Manipur MBBS 2019 will be conducted in offline mode starting sometime in the 1st week of July. Manipur MBBS 2019 counselling will have two rounds, post which a manual mop-up round will be held for filling vacant seats. The counselling process is open to those candidates that are included in the category-wise merit lists. The counselling process would include steps like document verification, option filling and seat allotment. All eligible candidates have to report for counselling at the assigned venue in person on scheduled day with originals and photocopies of all relevant documents.
The Manipur MBBS 2019 seat allotment process will be based on respective category-wise merit and options picked for admission.
