Predicting an MBBS seat with certainty is difficult because cut-offs vary every year depending on several factors like:
- Total NEET applicants
- Difficulty level of the NEET exam
- Number of MBBS seats available
- Reservation policies for different categories
However, based on your All India Rank (AIR) of 65653 and Category Rank (CR) of 29853, there is a
possibility
of getting an MBBS seat through the All India Quota or State Quota counseling.
With an AIR of 65653, it might be challenging to secure a seat in a government medical college under the General Quota. The cut-offs for government colleges tend to be much higher, typically falling within the top 20,000-25,000 ranks.
Your Category Rank of 29853 indicates a better chance of securing a seat in a government medical college under quota reservation for categories like OBC, SC, ST, etc. The cut-offs for these categories are generally lower than the General Quota.

It's difficult to predict with certainty whether you will get an MBBS seat through the Meghalaya state quota with a NEET score of 428 marks in 2024.
Cut-offs for MBBS seats through state quota counselling vary every year depending on factors like:
- The number of applicants from Meghalaya
- Difficulty level of the NEET exam
-
The number of MBBS seats available in Meghalaya
Since NEET results were declared in June 2024, and state quota counselling happens after that, confirmed cut-offs for Meghalaya in 2024 aren't available yet.
While not a guarantee, referring to the previous years' cut-offs for ST category in Meghalaya can provide some insight. Look for resources mentioning cut-offs specifically for ST category in Meghalaya.

Scoring 180 marks in NEET puts you in a challenging situation for securing a seat in an MBBS program through the all-India quota or many state quota seats.
Consider pursuing a B.Sc..Many government colleges offer B.Sc. Nursing programs at affordable fees. You can find information about government nursing colleges in your state through their official websites or educational department websites.
These government colleges often have lower fees compared to MBBS. Research eligibility criteria and career options in these fields to see if they align with your interests.
Look into government colleges offering programs in allied health sciences like Medical Lab Technology, Radiography, or Optometry. These programs equip you with specialized skills for healthcare professions with good job opportunities and lower program fees.
While private medical colleges have higher fees, some offer scholarships based on merit or entrance exams. These scholarships can significantly reduce the financial burden. Research private medical colleges in your state or nearby regions that offer scholarships for NEET scores around your range.
If you are highly determined to pursue MBBS, consider re-attempting NEET after a year of dedicated preparation. Utilize resources like coaching institutes, mock tests, and previous year question papers to improve your score

Hello,
Santosh Medical College and Hospital offers various programs, including medical and dental courses, but does not offer a B.Pharma program.
The college offers an MD in Pharmacology, which is a 3-year PG-level course with a total tuition fee of INR 600000 and admits 6 students.
Admission to the MBBS program is based on the NEET undergraduate exam, and admission to the BDS program is also based on the NEET undergraduate exam.
However, the college does not offer a B.Pharma program, and therefore, does not have any specific admission criteria for it.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
