AMU MBBS Counselling 2018 – Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is conducting AMU MBBS 2018 counselling. The result of the second round of counselling is has been declared on August 1, 2018, after the Supreme Court stayed Bombay High Court's order. The counselling process was put on hold for a second time as per the orders of Bombay High Court Nagpur Bench. Earlier, the counselling process was kept in abeyance as per the orders of the Madras High Court on July 12, 2018, but was scheduled to resume as Supreme Court stayed Madras High Court orders. The final result for round one of AMU MBBS counselling 2018 was declared on June 23, 2018. The result was declared in the form of seat allotment list and seat allotment letter.

Earlier, the result had been declared on June 22, 2018, but was retracted by MCC. The centralized counselling of AMU MBBS 2018 started on June 13, 2018. The first round of AMU NEET MBBS counselling 2018 was conducted until June 19, 2018. AMU MBBS 2018 counselling was conducted in online mode. The candidates were required to register with MCC for the counselling of AMU MBBS 2018.

Aspirants must note that the counselling conducted by MCC is centralized for all the Central and Deemed Universities offering Medical and Dental course at UG level. It is mandatory for candidates to fill AMU MBBS application form 2018 because only then they will be considered for AMU MBBS admission 2018. The admission will be taken through NEET UG so it becomes necessary to qualify the single window entrance exam. AMU MBBS BDS 2018 Counselling - Round 2
The result of the second round of counselling for AMU MBBS BDS 2018 has been declared on August 1, 2018, as per the directives of the Supreme Court to MCC. The counselling process was on hold again as per the High Court of Madras Nagpur Bench orders. Earlier, the Supreme Court stayed the Madras High Court orders according to which the counselling was kept in abeyance from July 12 to 20. The Madras High Corurt had ordered for grace marks of 196 to be awarded to candidates who had opted the NEET 2018 question paper in the Tamil language. CBSE was also ordered to release revised rank lists of candidates before the result of second round of AMU MBBS 2018 counselling. The second round of counselling for AMU MBBS 2018 was earlier started on July 6, 2018. The candidates who had not registered for the first round of counselling of AMU MBBS 2018 were allowed to participate in the process of registration, payment and choice filling. The fee for the second round could be paid until July 9 (12.00 PM), while the facility to lock the filled choices was available until July 9 (11.59 PM). The candidates who had registered for the first round of AMU MBBS counselling 2018 and were allotted a college but opted for choice upgradation or the candidates who had been allotted a college but did not join could participate in the second round of counselling of AMU MBBS 2018. The candidates who had been allotted a seat in the first round but did not opt for choice upgradation were not eligible to participate in the second round of AMU MBBS counselling 2018.

AMU MBBS BDS Counselling 2018 - Result (Round One)
The result of AMU MBBS BDS counselling was released in the form of seat allotment list and individual seat allotment letter. The mode of the release of the result was online only. The candidates whose name were included in the seat allotment list under AMU quota were required to take admission to the medical and dental college of AMU. The individual seat allotment letter is required at the time of admission.

AMU MBBS BDS Admission 2018
Candidates who were allotted the medical and dental college of AMU were required to report at Dean's Office, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh. Such candidates were required to submit the mandatory documents like NEET admit card, NEET scorecard and the seat allotment letter among others. AMU NEET MBBS BDS Counselling 2018 - Procedure
The candidates needed to register themselves with their NEET Roll No. (as given on NEET admit card 2018) and create a password. This roll no. and password will be used by the candidates as their login credentials. Aspirants are advised to change their password at frequent intervals.
The candidates have a list of Central and Deemed Universities wherein they can choose Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College for MBBS or Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College for BDS for AMU MBBS admission 2018. It should be made sure by the candidates that if their names have been displayed in AMU MBBS merit list 2018 only then they can choose AMU MBBS BDS 2018 during the counselling session.

Since, MCC is only responsible for conducting AMU MBBS counselling, the documents are to be submitted at AMU itself. The original copy of the documents must be submitted and are returned only if the candidate resign from his/her seat or choose for upgradation.
