The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh conducts the Uttar Pradesh Common Paramedical Entrance Test (UP CPET) exam. The authority will release the complete CPET 2025 schedule at abvmuup.edu.in. The application form for CPET 2025 will be released soon.
The CPET exam is conducted in offline mode and comprises of 200 MCQs in English and Hindi languages. The UP CPET question paper is divided into four sections. Each section will carry 50 questions. As per the CPET exam pattern, for each correct answer, + 1 mark is given and there is no negative marking in the CPET entrance exam. The total marks for CPET 2025 are 200. Through the UP CPET exam, admissions are granted to undergraduate paramedical courses in all government and private colleges affiliated with ABVMU Uttar Pradesh, SGPGIMS Lucknow, KGMU Lucknow, and UPUMS Saifai. Candidates wishing to appear in CPET 2025 Uttar Pradesh must fulfil certain eligibility criteria in order to fill the application form of CPET 2025. These UP CPET 2025 eligibility criteria can be checked below:
Candidate must be an Indian citizen
Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years as of December 31 of the year of the examination. However, for B.Sc paramedical courses in SGPGIMS, Lucknow, the maximum age limit is 30 years, while for other affiliated institutes, there is no maximum age limit.
Candidates who have passed 12th with a minimum pass percentage of 45% (40% for reserved candidates) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and passed in English individually are eligible for all paramedical courses.
Students from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and other open schools recognized by the central and state governments are also eligible.
The candidate should be medically fit. No candidate is granted admission until he/she is declared medically fit by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO.
Candidates who passed 12th with a minimum pass percentage of 45% (40% for reserved candidates) in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and passed in English individually are eligible for Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology courses.
For Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, candidates must have qualified Class 12 with at least pass percentage of 45% (40% for reserved candidates) in Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology and passed in English individually.
The application form for UP CPET 2025 is released online. Candidates must go through the important guidelines before filling out the application form. Candidates can check the steps involved in the filling up of the UP CPET 2025 application form given below:
Candidates must visit the official website, abvmuup.edu.in and click on the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET 2025) link. Enter the necessary details such as name, date of birth, category, email ID, mobile number and other details while registering for UP CPET exam 2025. After submitting the asked details, the registration number and password will be sent on the registered email ID and mobile number.
After successful registration, candidates have to log into the application portal by using registration ID number and password. Pay the application fee online through debit card/ credit card/ net banking or UPI.

Once the payment is done, aspirants have to fill the required details mentioned in the UP CPET application form. The details include personal information, academic, and residential details.
Choosing exam city: After filling the necessary details, applicants must select their preferred 3 test exam centres in order of preference.
Uploading of scanned documents: Students have to upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format. These documents include a photograph, signature and a scanned copy of duly filled verification sheet which can be downloaded from the CPET applicant dashboard.
Final submission and taking a printout: On the final submission page, candidates should preview and verify the details filled in and click on the declaration button. After final submission, a confirmation email is sent to the registered email address.

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh is responsible for designing the UP CPET syllabus. The syllabus is prepared from Class 12 (intermediate) curriculum. The syllabus of UP CPET includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Psychology, English and General Knowledge.
The UP CPET 2025 admit card is issued online on the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University official website,.abvmuup.edu.in. Candidates can download the admit cards of UP CPET through individual logins by using registered number & password. It must be noted that the UP CPET hall tickets will not be sent by post and digital format will not be accepted at the examination centre.

The authority announces the UP CPET result 2025 in online mode on the official website, abvmuup.edu.in. The UP CPET merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam. A combined merit list of UP CPET and category wise merit list will also be published.
The authority releases the UP CPET counselling 2025 schedule on the official website. Candidates who qualify the UP CPET entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of CPET merit list. The shortlisted candidates have to join the allotted college within the specified period.

To get admission to BDS college through NEET 2025, the cut-off will be around 400 to 500. Those who have scored this many marks or in between these will be able to get admission to government BDS Colleges.
For private BDS colleges, a minimum of 50 percentile is required.
Admission to government colleges also varies with number of candidates applied and seats available.
The NEET UG 2025 cutoff is expected to be highly competitive, with several factors influencing the final score. Based on previous year's trends, here are some expected cutoff scores:

- OBC Category: 161-127
- SC/ST Category: 136-107

There are no other exams now in India other than neet ug to pursue mbbs either from aiims, government colleges or private colleges. You have to appear in neet ug to pursue mbbs.

To get admission to the BNYS course at BHU , you need to qualify for NEET. The BNYS program has 30 seats, with 15 for general and 15 for reserved categories.
The exact cut-off varies yearly, but for reference, SC candidates needed around 580-600 NEET marks for BAMS at BHU . So, a similar score might be needed for BNYS. BHU does not accept CUET UG scores for BNYS admission.
It is best to aim for a high NEET score to increase your chances.
