AIIMS, New Delhi offers two programs in the BSc Nursing field. The exam pattern for both the courses is different which is mentioned below.
AIIMS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2025 is a computer-based test conducted online and has a duration of 120 minutes. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections: Physics (30 marks), Chemistry (30 marks), Biology (30 marks) and General Knowledge (10 marks). There is a negative marking, with a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer. The total marks for the exam are 100.
AIIMS BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) examination is conducted in two stages. Stage 1 is a written examination and stage 2 is a personal interview. The written examination is a computer-based test of 90 minutes duration. The exam comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There is a negative marking, with a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer. The personal interview is of total 30 marks.

the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam is generally easier than NEET because it has a more focused syllabus and less competition. NEET covers broader topics in physics, chemistry, and biology with a larger number of candidates. however, AIIMS nursing still requires good preparation, especially in biology and general knowledge.
