    Every year lakhs of students register for NEET UG exam. As per the NTA's official information, a total of 22,79,743 lakh students have registered for NEET 2026. Out of the total number of candidates registered for NEET 2026; 13,32,928 are female candidates and 9,46,815 are male candidates. The number of students registering for NEET UG 2026 exceeded the previous year’s statistics as admission to most of the state BSc nursing exams are through NEET 2026 exam.
