Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU will commence the BSc nursing IGNOU admission 2025 soon. Along with the application form, the IGNOU will release the BSc nursing post basic exam date. The exam is held from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. The post basic BSc nursing entrance exam results will be announced at ignou.ac.in.
Eligible candidates were able to fill out their IGNOU admission form for post BSc nursing at IGNOU’s official website. Nurses who have passed 10+2 with General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and have two years of work experience are eligible for BSc nursing IGNOU admission 2025. The authority releases the IGNOU post basic nursing admit card for the registered candidates. Aspirants can download the admit card of IGNOU BSc nursing by entering username and password.
After the completion of the exam, the qualified candidates will have to appear in the counselling session for admission to the Post Basic BSC nursing programme. The counselling session will be done at respective regional centres based on region wise merit list/rank and availability of seats. Interested candidates should meet the requirements to be eligible for the IGNOU Bsc nursing admission 2025. Check the eligibility criteria for IGNOU nursing below:
Candidates with 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and at least two years of experience in the profession.
Male nurses without midwifery in the GNM programme must obtain a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery
In-service Nurses (RNRM) must have passed 10th or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of experience (after registration as RNRM) are eligible.
Male nurses without GNM must have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration provided by Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery.
Candidates having 10+2 and GNM must not apply if experience after RNRM is less than two years.
Candidates having 10th and GNM must not apply if having less than 5 years experience after RNRM
There is no maximum age limit.

Now, candidates are required to upload the documents in the prescribed format and size.

After releasing the merit list, the qualified candidates will have to appear in the counselling session for admission to the Post Basic BSC nursing programme.
