Candidates who want to get admitted to the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG 2024 must meet the requirements given below.
Nationality: Indian
Domicile: Himachal Pradesh (Bonafide Himachali)
Non-domicile: Such candidates can apply for private seats
Academic qualification: Graduated/ final year of MBBS/BDS from an institution of Himachal Pradesh
Internship: Must have completed a 12-month rotatory internship latest by July 31, 2024
Registration: Candidates must be registered with the MCI/state medical council or DCI/state dental council
Qualifying entrance exam: Must be qualified for the NEET PG and NEET MDS exam by securing the minimum cutoffs as mentioned below.

The steps to fill out the HP NEET PG 2024 application form are mentioned below.
The authority will release the HP PG medical/dental application form 2024 on the official website, igmc.smartpad.in.
Candidates will need to fill out the application form completely, upload all the necessary documents and submit it all together with the application fee.
It should be mentioned that only applicants who meet the qualifying requirements will have their HP PG medical application form for 2024 accepted by the authorities. The application will be rejected if it contains insufficient or incomplete information.
Candidates can pay the application fee either online or with a demand draft. Candidates must make sure that they submit their application forms on or before the deadline.

DMER, Shimla will release the merit list of NEET PG 2024 on its official website. The candidate's personal information and NEET PG/MDS information will be mentioned on the merit list. Candidates must be aware that the authority will prepare the Himachal NEET PG merit list 2024 based on NEET PG/NEET MDS 2024 score, the fulfilment of eligibility requirements, reservation, and other variables.

The counselling process for HP NEET PG medical admissions is explained below.
The qualified applicants will be contacted for the counselling procedure based on the HP NEET PG merit list 2024. DMER, Shimla, will conduct the counselling in an online mode.
Candidates must register on the official Himachal Pradesh PG medical admissions website.
The next step for the candidates will be to select their college preferences and courses.
Following the release of the final HP NEET PG merit list 2024, the authorities will publish a provisional HP PG medical/dental seat allocation list based on the options selected and the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG seat matrix.
The candidates will be required to pay a portion of the academic fee.
Candidates who will be a part of the seat allocation process must get their selection letter from the DMER website.
After being selected for counselling, candidates must report to the college to pay the remaining admission fee, have their documents verified, and reserve their assigned seats.
The MCC will conduct central counselling to fill 50% of the seats in government colleges, while DMER, Shimla will fill the remaining 50% of seats in private and government colleges. A table regarding the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG seat matrix will be provided below listing the seats for state quota medical/dental seats in private and public colleges.

To be eligible for the NEET PG exam , candidates must have completed their MBBS (or equivalent) degree by the time of the exam . the eligibility criteria require that the candidate should have completed their internship by the cut-off date specified by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) , which conducts NEET PG .
Since your provisional certificate was issued on February 20, 2024 , you need to ensure that you have completed the required internship and meet all other eligibility conditions by the designated cut-off date for NEET PG . The NEET PG 2025 exam is expected to be conducted in March 2025 the usual pattern of being held in the first or second week of March . However, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will release the official notification with the exact date closer to the exam . Keep an eye on the official website for updates .
