In cases where two or more candidates secure the same marks, AIIMS Delhi applies the following tie-breaking criteria in order of preference to prepare the merit list:
Candidates with higher scores in Biology are ranked higher.
If the tie persists, the student with higher marks in Chemistry is considered.
If the tie is still unresolved, Physics marks determine the rank.
If all subject marks are equal, the older candidate is given preference.
