During the NEET 2026 correction window, candidates cannot modify all the details. Only certain specific fields can be corrected through the NEET UG correction window 2026. The details of editable and non-editable fields in NEET 2026 correction window is provided below.
Personal Details: Father’s and Mother’s names (limited to one change in most cases).
Category & Sub-Category: Candidates can change their category or PwD status.
Exam City and Language Preferences: Choice of NEET 2026 exam cities and the medium of the question paper can be changed.
Educational Qualifications: Marks, board name, year of passing, and roll numbers for Class 10, and 12.
Uploaded Documents: NTA generally allows candidates to re-upload signatures if the original was unclear or incorrect.
Registered Contact Info: No changes are allowed in the registered Mobile Number or Email ID.
Permanent Identity Details: The Aadhaar Number or other submitted permanent identity proofs cannot be edited
Biometric Data: Fingerprints and thumb impressions cannot be changed.
Captured Live Photograph: The live photo taken during the application process of NEET 2026 cannot be changed.

The process of form correction for NEET 2026 is completely online. Candidates need to follow these steps to make corrections during the NEET correction window 2026 -
Step 1: Visit official NEET website
Go to the official NTA NEET 2026 portal. The NEET 2026 official website is neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: NEET Applicant Login
Enter the NEET 2026 application number and password and log into the candidates login window. The application number and password is generated during the NEET registration 2026.
Step 3: Click on “Correction in Application Form”
Upon successful login, a dashboard for NEET UG 2026 correction will be displayed.
Step 4: Edit the required details
Make the changes carefully and double check spelling and documents. The editable fields in the correction window of NEET UG are generally highlighted to make it easier for students.
Step 5: Upload revised documents
Re-upload the documents that are allowed by the NTA, such as the signature and other certificates (If allowed).
Step 6: Submit & Save Confirmation Page
Once all the corrections are made, submit the correction window form and download the corrected NEET 2026 confirmation page.
The correction window for NEET 2026 opens only once. Once the correction window date is over, candidates cannot make any corrections in their application form.
All the corrections through the NEET UG correction window 2026 can be done in online mode only. No offline correction is allowed.
If any candidate fails to correct the Incorrect details, it may lead to the cancellation of candidature.
