The NEET PG counselling process is for admission to MD and MS courses offered in the state. To apply for the PG courses, candidates must carefully read the eligibility criteria for both MD and MS programs. After reviewing all the details, they should register by filling out the Chandigarh NEET PG admission form. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
Candidates must have completed MBBS from a recognized board or deemed university.
Candidates who have completed MBBS from any institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and whose parents hold a resident certificate.
It is mandatory to complete a compulsory rotatory residential internship within the stipulated date as stated by NMC.
The candidate should be registered with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
NEET PG reservation is the quota rule which is applied while allocating seats through NEET PG 2025 counselling. Candidates of both reserved and unreserved categories will be allocated seats as per the existing rule and regulations of NEET PG reservation system. NEET PG qualified candidates seeking Chandigarh NEET PG 2025 admission must fill out the application form available online. Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025 registration fees is of Rs. 2,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 1,000 for unreserved category candidates. The authority will also provide a correction window for making changes to the submitted application form, which will be available only for two days.
After the application phase completes, Chandigarh state NEET PG counselling authority releases the Chandigarh NEET PG 2025 merit list. Only candidates whose names appear on this merit list will be eligible for the further admission process. The merit list includes candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, gender, date of birth, Chandigarh domicile status, whether MBBS was completed in Chandigarh, category, PH status (Yes/No), NEET PG score, duration of service in remote and/or difficult areas, and final score.

After the release of the merit list, candidates are required to participate in the Chandigarh NEET PG choice-filling process. During the choice filling, candidates have to select their preferred courses and institutions based on their NEET PG rank. Candidates need to fill choices in online mode and make changes in the filled preferences before the last date. Then, the filled choices need to be locked within the stipulated period. If not locked, the filled preferences are locked automatically and considered by the authority for further admission process.

You may get a seat in private or deemed colleges , mainly in UP. Chances in other states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu are lower due to domicile rules and local quota preference.
