The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Guwahati, conducts the Assam PG medical/dental admission process. To participate in the Assam NEET PG counselling 2024, eligible candidates will have to fill an application form in online mode. Candidates wishing to participate in the admission process will have to submit the Assam PG medical application form online at dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates will be required to submit their NEET PG or NEET MDS details, as well as their contact, personal, and educational information, as part of the registration procedure. The DME, Assam, will compile and publish the NEET PG merit list 2024 Assam online based on the information provided, including state rank, domicile, graduation information, and other pertinent data. The regulatory authority will admit candidates to the following Assam PG medical courses in accordance with the results of NEET PG.
In order to fill 50% of the All India Quota seats, MCC conducts counselling based on the NEET PG scores.
DME will fill the remaining 50% state quota seats, Assam, based on state merit rank derived from NEET PG 2024 scores.
Admission regulatory bodies will use NEET PG scores to determine admission to all MD/MS/PG Diploma seats in private universities.
The DGHS will conduct counselling for deemed/central universities for admission to PG medical courses on behalf of MCC.

Domicile requirement: Candidates must be permanent residents of the state.
Academic qualification: Aspirants must possess MBBS/BDS provisional or pass certificates from a college/institute accredited by the National Medical Commission.
Completion of internship: Assam PG medical admission will be open to medical graduates who have completed rotatory internships of 12 months by March 31, 2024.
Registration: A registration certificate must be obtained from the NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).
Entrance exam: NEET PG cutoff percentile 2024 is required for candidates to qualify for the computer-based entrance test. The NEET PG cutoff percentiles for are listed below.

For Assam PG medical 2024, applicants must submit their applications online. Candidates must submit their NEET PG details, contact information, personal information, and other requested information. Applicants must also submit demand drafts for 100 rupees as part of the application procedure. Only applications submitted by the deadline will be eligible for document verification.
The following documents need to be included with the admissions application. If any of the required documents will not be provided, admission will not be granted. It is advised to bring photocopies in addition to the originals.

The admission committee, DME, Assam, will publish the Assam PG 2024 merit list online. The names and categories of the candidates, their score (out of 1200), their NEET PG rank, their state rank, and the state where they completed their MBBS will be listed on the merit list. The NEET PG Assam state merit list 2024 will be prepared based on the results. The merit list will only contain names of those candidates whose applications will be received by the deadline. Being on the NEET PG Assam merit list 2024 does not ensure admission to the Assam PG medical institutions.
Candidates on the DME Assam NEET PG 2024 merit list will have to fill their preferences for courses and colleges for the seat allocation process. The process of selecting preferences is conducted in online mode, where registered candidates have to log in using their registration number and password to declare their preferences. Additionally, candidates must finalize their choices by the stipulated deadline; otherwise, the system will automatically lock their choices once the deadline passes. The allotment of seats depends on various factors, including the choices made and the NEET PG rank of the candidates. The outcome of seat allotment will be announced separately for each round of Assam state NEET PG counselling.
Candidates whose names will be included in the state merit list will be called to the Assam PG medical 2024 counselling. Assam PG medical 2024 counselling will be conducted online by DME, Assam. There will be two counselling rounds for the MD/MS 2024, including the mop-up round and stray vacancy round.
The selection of students for Assam PG medical admissions 2024 would consider preferences, state merit rank, available seats, reservation requirements, and other elements. Aspirants will be asked to choose their preferred colleges and areas of specialisation during the counselling process. Applicants must report to the colleges they have been assigned to finish the admissions process.
Assam PG medical admission 2024 is open to candidates who have qualified for NEET PG 2024 and have attained a minimum percentile.
A total of 652 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats will be available for admission in Assam PG medical admissions in 2024.

It's  a good idea that you've already emailed the NEET PG officials regarding the mistake of uploading your temporary Dental Council of India (DCI) certificate while the DCI number you mentioned is the permanent one.
Discrepancies in application documents can lead to delays during verification. In the worst-case scenario, your application might be rejected.
Since you have already contacted the officials, wait for their response. They are the best source of information on how to rectify this issue and whether it will cause any problems.
In the meantime, have copies of both your temporary and permanent DCI certificates readily available. This will help if the officials request any further clarification.
If you don't hear back within a reasonable timeframe (around a week), consider sending a polite follow-up email to the NEET PG authorities.

After your neet results when will get admission a call for counseling you must take your class x mark sheet along with you to ahow the college authorities where yoh will get admission.
You may carry your mother's ID proof to show the official persons but it is not a great issue , don't think much of it.

They will listen your problems or excuses whatever , they just need ews certificate anyhow ,so it is better for you to select your category as general if you don't have ews certificate available right now to avoid any problem in the future .
