The eligibility requirements for Telangana PG medical admission can be found below. Before filling out the application form for Telangana PG medical admission 2024, aspirants must meet these requirements.
To be eligible for admission to medical and dental colleges in the state, candidates must qualify for NEET PG 2024 and score at least the required percentile. The following table shows the NEET PG cutoff 2024 required to qualify.
In order to qualify, candidates must have completed the MBBS program at one of the state's medical institutes.
The Telangana PG medical admission 2024 will also be open to local candidates from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, and Christian Medical College, Dichpally.
Medical graduates must possess an MBBS degree that is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Candidates already pursuing postgraduate studies must discontinue them and submit the bond amount and the stipend they have drawn up to that point. Such candidates must also submit a certificate issued by the institution's head.
Candidates for Telangana PG admission must be registered with the State Medical Council or NMC.
It is mandatory to complete a one-year rotatory internship by July 11, 2024.

The following points detail the steps to fill out the Telangana NEET PG application form 2024.
How to fill out the Telangana PG medical application
Registration: The registration process will require eligible medical graduates to provide their NEET PG roll number, rank, birth date, and mobile number. Upon registering, candidates will receive a registration number via SMS.
Login: Candidates are required to log in using their registration number and NEET PG roll number
Fill out the application form: Candidates must submit their details and educational qualifications in the application form. To continue, candidates will need to click on the 'Save and Pay' button or the 'Save and Exit' button.
Payment of application fee: To complete the process, OC & BC candidates have to pay INR 5,500, and SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.5000 towards the Telangana PG 2024 medical admission fee using a debit card, credit card, or net banking method.
Telangana NEET PG merit list 2024
The authorities release a provisional NEET PG Telangana merit list 2024 on the official website. In the merit list, candidates whose application forms will be accepted will be listed, along with their state merit rank, which will serve as the basis for document verification. Document verification will be conducted following the guidelines provided below for all such candidates. After completing the verification process, the authorities will release the final NEET PG 2024 Telangana state rank list pdf.
Telangana NEET PG Counselling - Document verification
The final merit list of Telangana NEET PG admission 2024 will be released once the candidates' documents have been verified. There will be a notice on the official website stating where each category will be able to obtain their documents verified. When applying for Telangana NEET PG 2024 medical admission, candidates are required to submit the following documents:

Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2024
KNRUHS will conduct Telangana PG medical counselling 2024 in online mode. The candidates whose names appear in the final merit list in Telangana PG 2024 medical counselling will be entitled to exercise their web options. According to their NEET PG 2024 score, candidates must select their preferred colleges and courses. Telangana PG medical counselling results will be announced through seat allotment lists. If a seat is allotted to a candidate and they do not participate in the first round of the Telangana PG medical counselling 2024. In that case, that candidate will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds.
Seat reservation for Telangana PG medical admissions 2024
Keeping in line with previous years' trends and the state's seat reservation policy, all seats that remain empty after deducting those reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) shall go to the local candidates. Additionally, minority quota seats will be reserved for minority students in minority colleges. The table below shows the category-wise medical reservation for Telangana PG 2024.

Maharashtra provides a 'Hilly Area Reservation' for medical admissions, mainly for MBBS courses. To qualify, candidates must have studied in schools located in hilly areas as per their parents' domicile.
However, for NEET PG (MDS) , there is no specific mention of hilly area reservation.

NEET PG
while continuing your current MD course in a private college. You are not required to discontinue the MD course before writing the exam. However, if you secure admission to another MD/MS/DNB course through NEET PG and wish to join it, you will need to officially resign from your current MD program.

Most private colleges have a service bond or penalty for discontinuing an MD course. If you leave before completing the course, you may have to pay the bond amount or a penalty.

Eligibility Criteria:
Ensure that your current college has no restrictions on appearing for NEET PG while pursuing an MD.
- Counseling Process: If you get a new seat through NEET PG, you must formally resign from your current course before joining the new one.

- Management Quota: In this seats are reserved for candidates who may not have secured admission through the regular merit - based process. These seats often come with higher tuition fees and are filled based on different criteria set by the institution. In Telangana, candidates seeking admission under the management quota must have qualified in the NEET PG examination and other specific criteria.
- Institutional Quota: IT can vary in meaning across different states and institutions. General it refers to seat allocated at the discretion of the institutions, potentially for candidates associated with the institution or its stakeholders. However in the context of Andhra Pradesh (AP) there is not a specific “institutional quota”. Instead AP has a “convenor quota”, which pertains to government seats allocated in private medical colleges.

If you've been allotted a seat in the NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) stray vacancy round and choose not to accept it, consider the following:
-
Forfeiture of Security Deposit : Not joining the allotted seat will result in the loss of your security deposit.
-
Debarment from Future Exams : You will be barred from taking the NEET exam in the subsequent year.
-
Ineligibility for State Counselling : Data of candidates who have joined seats in Round 3 will be shared with state counselling authorities, and such candidates will be prohibited from participating in subsequent state counselling rounds.
Therefore, if you do not accept the seat allotted in the AIQ stray vacancy round, you will be ineligible to participate in your state's third round of counselling .
