HP MBBS Merit List 2019 – Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla has released the merit list of HP MBBS/BDS 2019 for mop-up round. Th shortlisted candidates can report for the counselling process, which is to be conducted on September 7. The link to download HP MBBS state merit list has been provided on this page. HP MBBS counselling will be conducted for admission to 68 vacant seats left. The authority earlier released HP BAMS/BHMS 2019 merit list, which can be downloaded from the link below.. On the basis of scores obtained in NEET 2019. Based on the HP MBBS state merit rank, the eligible candidates are eligible to participate for the offline counselling process.

published the HP MBBS 2019 merit list on July 4, which can be downloaded from the link available below on this page. The counselling schedule for HP MBBS/BDS admissions has also be released along with the merit list, which will commence from July 5 to 11, in offline mode. HP MBBS BDS Merit List 2019 – Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Himachal Pradesh MBBS BDS 2019 merit list requires a candidate to obtain the minimum percentile in accordance with their respective category in the NEET UG examination. Candidates can check here for the required minimum percentile of NEET 2019.

HP MBBS Merit List 2019 – Tiebreaker

In case of clash of eligibility between candidates, there are three ways of resolving the tie. These tie breakers is applied in cases wherein two or more candidates have the same score in NEET 2019. The tie-breakers are as given below -

  • Tiebreaker 1- The candidate who has scored more marks in Biology subject will be placed on a higher merit than the other candidates.

  • Tiebreaker 2- If the tie still persists, the candidate with more marks in Chemistry subject will be picked.

  • Tiebreaker 3- In case the tie still resists, candidate who has less number of attempted incorrect answers in NEET 2019 will be preferred over other candidates.

  • Tiebreaker 4- If the above three tiebreakers fail to resolve the clash, then the candidate with higher Date of Birth (DOB) will be preferred over all other candidates.

HP MBBS BDS Counselling 2019

The regulatory authority has started conducting counselling of HP MBBS 2019 in offline mode. The authority has released the counselling schedule for first round along with the HP NEET merit list 2019. Aspirants who are included in the merit list of HP MBBS 2019 are eligible to participate in HP MBBS counselling 2019. Only those candidates whose name appear in the provisional merit list are required to report at the counselling venue for seat allotment process. The selected candidates need to give their preference of colleges and courses. Considering the preferences given by the candidate, HP MBBS state merit rank and seats available, the HP MBBS admission 2019 will be given.

The first round of HP MBBS counselling 2019 has been conducted from July 5 to 11, while round two was held from July 27 to 30. After the result of first round of counselling is declared, the selected candidates will need to report at the allotted college/institute for document verification and completion of admission process. Thereafter, the authorities are expected to conduct the second round of counselling in the third week of July to fill the remaining seats. In case of there are seats left vacant even after the first and second round of counselling, the authority will organise a mop-up round.

HP MBBS BDS Merit List 2019 – Highlights

  • The merit list of HP MBBS BDS 2019 for round one has been released by July 4.

  • No candidates are individually informed about HP MBBS merit list 2019.

  • The authorities has released the HP MBBS BDS merit list 2019 collectively for all the eligible candidates.

  • HP MBBS 2019 merit list is based on the central merit list released by the CBSE.

  • Only those candidates who have qualified the NEET examination and completed the process of application by paying the application fee will be included in the merit list of HP MBBS 2019.

  • The HP MBBS BDS 2019 merit list will be made category-wise which will give the candidates a state merit rank.

  • The candidates whose names will appear on the HP MBBS merit list 2019 will be able to attend the various counselling sessions.

Candidates whose names have been mentioned in the HP MBBS 2019 merit list will be required to report to the counselling venue at the scheduled date and time. Candidates must carry with them all the original documents necessary for the process of HP MBBS admission 2019. The the counselling committee will verify all the documents before the seat allotment process starts through HP MBBS counselling 2019.

does 10th marks matter for neet

Greetings!

No your 10th marks is not taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination, it is your marks in class 12th which is taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination.

You can check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You must have passed in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of
50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

  • There's no upper age limit for neet 2020.

  • There's no attempt limit for neet examination.

Code 07 says: Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.

Himanshu, if you are from Karnataka, your code will be 03. Code 03 says: The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.

But if you are not from Karnataka, your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

It will be 05. Code 05 says: The first year of the three years degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.

Amar you need to choose the code 07 as code 07 is for aspirants who have passed any other examination which in scope and standard is equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects .


You are eligible for neet examination only if you have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.
