The NEET admit card undertaking is a self declaration form issued by the exam conducting body, NTA to ensure that candidates follow the COVID-19 guidelines during the exam.
In the NTA NEET admit card undertaking, students will be asked to confirm if they have any COVID-19 symptoms. With the help of NEET 2023 admit card undertaking, NTA aims to ensure the safe conduct of the examination. Candidates must ensure that the information filled in the NTA NEET admit card undertaking is true, as it will be checked at the exam centre.

The first section of the NEET admit card undertaking 2023 is the declaration by the candidate. Through declaration in NEET admit card undertaking, the authority will ask the candidates to self declare that they have read the government guidelines and instructions in respect to COVID-19. Further, in the NEET 2023 admit card undertaking declaration students will also declare that they have gone through the NEET information brochure released by NTA.
The declaration reads, “I have read the instructions, guidelines, and relevant orders of the Government of India pertaining to COVID-19 pandemic.” Further, the NEET admit card undertaking declaration says that, “I have read information bulletin, instructions, and notices related to this examination available at neet.nta.nic.in.”
NTA NEET 2023 admit card undertaking: COVID-19 details
In the second section of the NEET admit card undertaking, students will have to fill COVID-19 related details.
Candidates will have to declare if they have had any of the below mentioned flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days. The symptoms include:
Fever
Cough
Breathlessness
Sore throat/runny nose
Body ache
Others - If a candidate has experienced any other flu-like symptom, he/she will have to specify
2. In NTA NEET 2023 admit card undertaking, candidates will be asked to confirm if they have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. In the undertaking, it will be mentioned “Been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (close contact means being at less than one meter distance for more than 15 minutes.)”
Candidates will have to declare if they have been in close contact with a person suffering from COVID-19 and are not in mandatory quarantine.
The NEET admit card undertaking 2023 will ask students’ details of their travel history 14 days prior to reporting to the NEET exam centre. Candidates will have to list the names of cities/country and date of arrival in the city of allotted NEET 2023 exam centre.

In the third section of the NEET admit card 2023 self declaration form, NTA will take the responsibility for the safe conduct of exam and the health of all the aspirants appearing for NEET UG 2023. Therefore, the NEET 2023 exam centres will have the authority to deny entry to any candidate with the risk of spreading infection. The NEET admit card undertaking 2023 will state, “The health and wellbeing of our community is our first priority; therefore the centre reserves the right to deny entry to its premises.”

In the last section of NEET admit card undertaking students will have to self declare that they have read and understood all the instructions mentioned by authorities. The NEET 2023 admit card undertaking will mention, “I/we have read the detailed “important instructions for candidates” as given and “Advisory for candidates regarding COVID-19” and I/we undertake to abide by the same.”
Following this, students and parents will have to sign the NEET 2023 self-declaration form. It's advised that candidates read all the important instructions and the COVID-19 advisory carefully before signing the declaration.
In the NTA NEET 2023 admit card undertaking, candidates will have to affix their postcard size photo for NEET. The photograph should be the same as uploaded in the NEET application form. Along with the photo, candidates will have to put their left hand thumb impression and get their parents’ signature on the NEET admit card undertaking 2023. While candidates will have to sign the NEET admit card undertaking in the presence of the invigilator at the exam centre. Space for attaching photograph thumb impression, and signature will be provided in the NTA NEET 2023 admit card undertaking.

NTA will release the instructions and COVID advisory to be followed on NEET exam day along with the admit card. Students must follow the instructions mentioned below on NEET 2023 exam date.
Documents to carry: Medical aspirants will have to carry the NEET admit card 2023, undertaking, a valid ID proof, passport size, and a postcard size photograph.
Reporting time: Candidates should reach the NEET 2023 exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. No student will be allowed to enter the NEET exam centre 2023 after the closing of the gates.
Items allowed: In addition to mandatory documents, students are allowed to carry gloves, masks, a personal transparent water bottle and a transparent sanitiser bottle inside the NEET test centre.
Banned items: Candidates must ensure that they do not carry any of the prohibited items to the exam centre on NEET exam 2023 day. Banned items include stationery, electronic devices, eatables, accessories, jewellery, and bags.
