• There are 5 MBBS and 1 BDS institutes under GGSIPU. Admission will be conducted based on NEET results.

• Admission to 15% All India Quota seats in all 6 institutes under GGSIPU will be conducted through NEET counselling by MCC.

• Admission to the remaining 85% state quota seats in the following institutes will also be granted through MCC NEET counselling 2024. - Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital (VMMC & SJ), Atal Behari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. RML Hospital (ABVIMS & RML), ESIC Dental, Delhi

• Admission to 85% state quota seats in the remaining 3 medical colleges will be granted through IPU NEET 2026 counselling.

Eligibility criteria for IPU MBBS admission 2026

Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be considered for IPU 2026 MBBS admission.

• Nationality: Indian/ Overseas Indian / Nepal citizens are eligible for IPU MBBS admission.

• Age: Students must have attained at least 17 years of age to apply for IPU NEET admission 2026.

• Academic qualifications: Students should have passed the class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their core subjects.

• Minimum marks required: Applicants should score at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. In the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum marks required are 40%.

• Delhi quota: Candidates applying for seats under the Delhi quota must have passed classes 11 and 12 as regular students from a recognised school/college situated in Delhi. Students should have studied 10 + 2 under the CBSE board, Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi.

• NEET cutoff: Students must secure the NEET cutoff as released by the NTA.

IPU MBBS admission 2026 - Application form

To apply for IPU MBBS admission, students will have to register themselves at the official website. The IPU NEET application form can be filled in an online mode at ipu.ac.in.

• Registration - While filling out the IPU MBBS application form, students will have to register using their personal and contact details. To register, students will have to enter their name, DOB, nationality, category, parents’ names, email address, mobile number, and complete address.

• Uploading of documents - After registration, students will be asked to upload their photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the IPU MBBS application form.

• Filling the academic details - Candidates will be asked to enter their academic details for classes 10 and 12.

• Login - After entering all details, a login ID and password will be issued to the candidate.

• Payment of application fee - After logging in, students will have to choose the course (MBBS/BDS) they wish to apply for, followed by payment of the application fee of Rs 1,000. The IPU MBBS application form fee can be paid in an online mode using a credit/debit card/net banking.

• Printout - After submission, candidates should take two to three printouts of the IPU MBBS application form for future reference.

IPU NEET Admission 2026 - Merit List

After submission of the IPU MBBS application form, the authority publishes a merit list before starting the online counselling. The IPU NEET merit list will be published at the official website in the form of a PDF. The merit list will mention the names of candidates eligible for IPU NEET admission. Authority will prepare the IPU MBBS/BDS merit list based on NEET 2026 marks. The merit list of IPU MBBS 2026 will mention the candidate's name, DOB, gender, category, and NEET rank. Those included in the IPU MBBS 2026 merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Counselling for IPU MBBS admission 2026

Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for IPU NEET 2026 counselling. The counselling for IPU MBBS will be conducted in an online mode. GGSIPU will conduct three rounds of IPU NEET counselling 2026, followed by a spot round in case of vacant seats. During IPU MBBS counselling, students will be asked to register and fill in their preferences for courses and colleges. Based on the choices filled by candidates for IPU NEET admission 2026, the authority will conduct seat allotment. Students who will be allotted seats during counselling of IPU MBBS 2026 will have to report to the allotted institute for admission. Candidates should carry the following documents at the time of reporting for IPU MBBS/BDS admission.
