DNB PDCET 2020 was held on December 20, 2019 for 14 specialties in online mode. Candidates are awarded 4 marks for every correct answer
1 mark is deducted for every candidate as negative marking if they give incorrect answer
On the basis of score obtained in the examination, candidates are allotted ranks in the result of DNB PDCET. Candidates must note that allotment of ranks is in decreasing order of marks. However, in case two or more candidates secure the same marks then the tie-breaker criteria for DNB PDCET result 2020 as set by the authorities will apply.
In case of two or more candidates having obtained the same scores, NBE has issued the tie-breaking criteria to arrive at the DNB PDCET result 2020. The criteria is determined in descending order of applications till a unique inter-se-merit is determined. The guidelines are
The candidate who has more correct responses shall be placed at a higher position.
If the inter-se-merit is still unresolved, the date of birth will be considered and the older candidates placed at a higher position
The authorities set the cutoff for examination which serves as the minimum qualifying a candidate is required to secure in order to qualify for counsellings and then admissions. This will be made available on this page as soon as the official declares the same.
NBE will conduct centralised counselling for DNB PDCET 2020 in four rounds. The first three rounds for counselling of DNB PDCET will be held in online mode. However, the final round of DNB PDCET counselling 2020 will be an offline (in-person) round. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of inter-se-merit obtained in DNB PDCET 2020 result. The authorities will not allow such candidates to take part in the counselling process for time equal to the duration of the course, who reject the seat allotted to them or do not pay the fee or do not report for in-person round of counselling (if applicable).
