The result of DNB PDCET 2024 is declared for 15 different specialities, mentioning participant ID, scores obtained (out of 480), and merit rank. Candidates are ranked in order of their PDCET scores out of 480 secured by them in the entrance exam. It must also be noted that the result of DNB PDCET will be valid for one year only, which means it is restricted to the admission session for which the candidates appeared. DNB PDCET was conducted on July 21, 2024 for 14 specialities which are DGO, DMRD, DMRT, DORTHO, DOMS, DLO, DA, DVD, DPM, DCH, DNM, DTCD, DPMR, and DCP. Note: Based on the score obtained in the examination, candidates are allotted ranks in the result of DNB PDCET. Candidates must note that the allotment of ranks is in decreasing order of marks. However, in case two or more candidates secure the same marks, then the tie-breaker criteria for DNB PDCET result 2024 as set by the authorities will apply.
In case two or more candidates obtain the same scores, the authorities will apply the tie-breaking criteria. The criteria are determined in descending order of applications till a unique inter-se-merit is determined. The guidelines are:
Tie Breaker I | Aspirants with more correct responses shall be placed at a higher position. |
Tie Breaker II | If the inter-se-merit is still unresolved, the date of birth will be considered and the older candidates placed at a higher position. |
DNB PDCET 2024 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks, that a candidate is required to secure in order to qualify for counselling and then admissions. This will be made available on this page as soon as the official declares the same.
The authorities will conduct centralised counselling for DNB PDCET in four rounds. The first three rounds for counselling of DNB PDCET will be held in online mode. However, the final round of DNB PDCET counselling 2024 will be an offline (in-person) round. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of inter-se-merit obtained in DNB PDCET 2024 result. Dear applicant although it is somewhat difficult for you to get DNB Obstetrics or Gynecology but yes since your are from OBC Category you have moderate possibilities of getting admissions. Though it is just an assumption but based on the rank that you secured you have better possibilities of admission in courses line MD in Pharmacology, MD in Biochemistry, MD in Anatomy, MD in General Medicine etc. But yes cut off can vary and you can get a seat.
