NEET MDS 2020 is a single-window online entrance exam, which is conducted for admission to Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats offered by the government, private, deemed and central universities across India. NBE is expected to conduct the NEET MDS 2020 entrance exam on December 20, 2019.
Know your admission chances
It is crucial for aspirants to go through the following NEET MDS eligibility criteria to take the computer-based entrance test.
Nationality – An aspirant should be a citizen of India. The Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and the Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) are also eligible to take the test.
Qualification – It is crucial for the applicants to pass the Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree, which must be awarded by the university or institute in India under MDS course regulations 2017 issued by Dental Council of India (DCI) with the approval of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Registration Certificate – A candidate should have a provisional or permanent registration certification issued by DCI or State Dental Council (SDC) by March 31 of the particular academic year.
Internship – Applicants should have completed or likely to complete the 12 months rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020. In accordance to NEET MDS 2020 eligibility criteria, aspirants who are undergoing the rotatory internship and are expected to complete before March 31, will be considered eligible for exams. However, they will not be eligible to take admissions in MDS courses until they produce the intership certificate at the time of counselling.
NEET MDS 2020 Eligibility Criteria for J&K aspirants
Candidates who have completed their UG dental course from the Jammu and Kashmir will not be considered to participate under 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. However, aspirants who were nominated by the Government of India (GoI) under the central pool quota seats will be eligible for AIQ seats provided such candidates have to submit the duly signed affidavit mentioning that he/she was nominated by GoI and have to send it to the address as mentioned below with the printout of NEET MDS application form 2020 confirmation page within the last date, as specified by the authority.

Note: Since the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has started participating in 50% AIQ scheme from the year 2018, therefore, candidates from these states can participate for AIQ scheme.
NEET MDS 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals
As per the NEET MDS eligibility criteria 2020, it is not mandatory for foreign nationals to have the temporary registration of DCI at the time of examination.
The foreign nationals can take the exam without DCI registration certificate.
The temporary registration certificate by DCI will be issued on a condition that the foreign national must be registered as a medical practitioner in his/her country.
NEET MDS Eligibility Criteria 2020 – Who are not eligible?
Any candidate found in violation with NEET MDS 2020 eligibility conditions set by NBE were not allowed take up the examination. However, if any ineligible candidate successfully appears for the entrance examination, later his/her candidature will be cancelled.
As mentioned in the eligibility criteria of NEET MDS 2020, only candidates who have completed or likely to complete their 12 months rotatory internship on or before March 31. Any candidate who is not likely to complete the internship within the stipulated time will not be considered eligible for NEET MDS.

Dear Chandra, you haven't mentioned the kind of msitake that happened in the application form. Neverthless, NBE will start its correction window tentatively in the 2nd week of November and you can edit your application. Having said that not all the fields can be modified. You cannot make corrections to your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Nationality, Mobile Number, Email Id and Exam City. If your error is one amongst these, you may have to re register with new Mobile number and Email Id. This may include another payment.
