MCC will conduct the counselling based on the NEET SS scores. NEET SS 2025 counselling will be conducted for admission to 2,447 DM/MCh/DNB super speciality seats. As many as 156 government, private, deemed and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions will participate in the NEET SS counselling 2025. Only candidates who secure the NEET SS 2025 cutoff, that is 50% marks will be eligible for the NEET SS counselling 2025.

To participate in NEET SS 2025 counselling, students must register at the MCC portal by entering personal details and paying the required fee and security deposit. After registration for NEET SS counselling 2025, candidates need to submit their preferences of specialisation and colleges, in which they wish to take admission. It must be noted that admission to super speciality courses at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) will not be granted through NEET SS 2025 counselling. To be eligible for NEET SS 2024 counselling, aspirants must secure the cutoff and qualify NEET SS entrance test. The cutoff of NEET SS 2024 is the minimum percentile which candidates need to score in the entrance exam to be considered for MCC counselling. The cutoff percentile of NEET SS 2024 will be announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) after the result declaration.

Step 1: Register for NEET SS counselling 2025

• Click on the link to register for the counselling of NEET SS 2025, which will be provided on this page

• Enter details such as name, date of birth, NEET SS 2025 information, security code, and other asked details

• Verify and submit the details filled

• Note down the login credentials of NEET SS 2025 counselling

• Login and enter personal details such as parents name, communication details, category, and nationality

• Enter NEET SS 2025-related details such as the application number and roll number

Step 2: Payment of NEET SS counselling registration fee

• After submitting the details, candidates will have to pay the mandatory NEET SS 2025 counselling registration and security deposit fee.

• Pay the registration fee of counselling of NEET SS 2025 online. Check the details of the registration fee in the table below. Candidates must note that the NEET SS counselling fee is non-refundable.

• Pay the compulsory security deposit for NEET SS counselling in an online mode through credit/debit card/ net banking. As per MCC, the security deposit is refundable but can be fortified under certain situations. Step 3: NEET SS counselling 2025 choice filling and locking

• After payment of fee for counselling of NEET SS 2025, candidates will have to fill their choices for seat allotment processing.

• It must be noted that if a candidate registers for NEET SS 2025 counselling, however, does not fill any choices he/she will not be allotted any seat

• Candidates can fill as many choices during NEET SS counselling

• In case a candidate forgets to lock the NEET SS counselling 2025 choices filled, they will be locked automatically

MCC NEET SS counselling 2025- Seat allotment

Based on the choices filled by candidates during counselling of NEET SS 2025. availability of seats, scores, reservation criteria and other factors, DGHS will conduct the seat allotment process. The result of NEET SS seat allotment 2025 will be declared at mcc.nic.in in a PDF format. The NEET SS counselling result PDF will mention candidate details, NEET SS All India Rank (AIR), college allotted, course allotted, and remarks.

After the declaration of the NEET SS allotment list 2025, MCC will release the seat allotment letter for the shortlisted candidates. Students will have to log in using their credentials to download the seat allotment letter of NEET SS 2025. The NEET SS allotment letter will include the candidate's name, category, rank in NEET SS 2025, marks scored, college and course allotted, and the date and time for reporting to the allotted institute.

Candidates shortlisted in the NEET SS counselling 2025 will be required to report to the institute allotted to them. At the time of reporting, candidates will have to undergo document verification for NEET SS 2025 admission. Candidates will be required to pay the tuition fee to reserve their seat allotted during NEET SS counselling. For document verification at the time of reporting, candidates will have to carry the following documents.

What after round one of NEET SS 2025 counselling?

After DGHS declares the result of NEET SS counselling 2025, candidates will be required to follow any of the below-mentioned steps according to status.

• If a candidate is satisfied with a seat allotted during round one of NEET SS counselling, he/she can report to the allotted college along with the required documents. Such candidates will not be considered for further rounds of NEET SS counselling.

• If a candidate is satisfied with the first round of NEET SS 2025 seat allotment but wishes to participate in round two, such candidates can opt for up-gradation. Candidates will have to submit their willingness for up-gradation in the next round of NEET SS counselling 2025 and report to the allotted college to reserve their round one admission.

• If a candidate does not wish to join the college allotted in round one, he/she can opt for free exit. In such a situation, the security deposit paid by the candidate will be forfeited. Such candidates can participate in round two of NEET SS counselling 2025 but will have to register again.

Candidates will have to follow the same steps for the second round of NEET SS counselling 2025. All the candidates willing to participate in round two of NEET SS 2025 counselling will have to submit fresh choices of courses and colleges. Candidates not registered during round one of NEET SS counselling and those who will opt for free exit in round one, will be required to register and pay the registration fee.

Candidates opting for up-gradation in round one will not be required to register again for the second round of NEET SS 2025 counselling. If the seat is upgraded in round two of NEET SS counselling, then candidates will have to get a relieving letter from the previous institute and join the upgraded college. However, if the seat is not upgraded, the seat allotted in round one of counselling of NEET SS 2025 will be retained.
