If there will be a situation, where two or more candidates obtain the same scores, tie-breaking criteria will be applied to determine inter-se merit in descending order of application till unique inter-se merit is determined for all such candidates. Both the tie-breaking criteria are mentioned in the table below.

NBE releases the DNB PDCET result in PDF format in online mode. The result of DNB PDCET is available for all 14 specialisations respectively and carries details like the candidate's name, roll number, rank scored by them, etc. Candidates who appeared for DNB PDCET will be ranked in order of their scores out of 480 secured by them among other candidates of the same broad speciality.
Aspirants who qualify for the entrance test and have their names in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the DNB PDCET counselling. All eligible aspirants are required to register within the specified time period and need to arrange their preference of college only after paying the prescribed counselling fee of Rs 2500. NBE conducts the counselling in various rounds. Candidates who fail to secure a seat in the first, second, or third round of counselling are eligible to participate in the fourth round of DNB PDCET counselling 2025.

However The cutoff marks are also different for different institutes. The cutoff marks for institutes located in metros are usually higher than the cutoff marks for institutes located in rural areas.

Dear applicant although it is somewhat difficult for you to get DNB Obstetrics or Gynecology but yes since your are from OBC Category you have moderate possibilities of getting admissions. Though it is just an assumption but based on the rank that you secured you have better possibilities of admission in courses line MD in Pharmacology, MD in Biochemistry, MD in Anatomy, MD in General Medicine etc. But yes cut off can vary and you can get a seat.
