To participate in the DNB PDCET counselling 2024, aspirants must register and make the payment of the counselling fee within the stipulated date. During the DNB PDCET counselling choice-filling process, aspirants need to provide their preferences of colleges and courses in which they wish to get admission. Four rounds are held under DNB PDCET 2024 counselling for admission to post-diploma seats across India. Eligibility Criteria of DNB PDCET 2024 Counselling

To be a part of the counselling process, candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria that is mentioned below.

  • Candidates who have qualified DNB PDCET exam 2024
  • Candidates pursuing any postgraduate medical course can take part in the counselling process, only if he/she resigns from that course.
  • If ineligibility is detected at any stage, then NBE reserves its right to take necessary actions.
  • Candidates who fail to participate in the first round shall not be eligible for participation in the further round, including the fourth round.

Steps to Register for DNB PDCET Counselling 2024

The detailed step-by-step registration procedure for DNB PDCET 2024 counselling is mentioned below.

DNB PDCET 2024 counselling registration and fee payment

To participate in the DNB PDCET counselling 2024 candidates need to register themselves on the NBE Portal. Candidates are required to create a password using the link provided on the home page of DNB PDCET 2024 counselling.

In order to successfully create a password, candidates are required to enter either their mobile number or DNB PDCET roll no/email ID. By clicking on ‘creating a password’, candidates will receive an OPT (One Time Password) on the provided mobile number/email ID. Candidates are advised to retain the password for future preferences. After the password is created, aspirants need to login in order to complete their registration process.

After the log in, candidates have to pay Rs. 2500 as the counselling fee in online mode through credit/debit cards and net banking.

After the successful fee payment, candidates have to fill the counselling form. Candidates are required to edit and fill their personal details carefully while registering for counselling.

DNB PDCET choice filling

After the registration, aspirants are required to fill and lock their choice of college in the provided time.

For filling the choices, candidates has to select State -> Hospital -> Add choice. Candidates can fill any number of choices during the process and has to arrange the selected choices in order of preference. Candidates can move their choices up and down and can remove the chosen option by clicking on the remove button. It is to be noted that choices filled by the candidates should be locked as well. In case, the choices left unlocked before the given time, the filled choices will be locked automatically.

DNB PDCET mock allotment 2024

After the choice filling and locking by the aspirants, the authority will release a mock allotment list with the names of the candidates along with their ranks, filled choices as well the total number of seats. By looking at the mock list, candidates have the advantage to reconsider their filled choices and edit them accordingly.

DNB PDCET 2024 seat allotment round 1

  • Eligible candidates are required to fill out their choice of colleges after submitting the counselling fee.

  • Candidates will be allowed to select and arrange the choices of seats according to their preference and can select as many choices as they want. However, It is advisable not to fill the choices if they are not interested. As, if a seat is allotted to such candidate and the candidate fails to pay the course fee, then they will be considered ineligible for a further round including the last round.

  • A confirmation is required at the counselling website by the SC, ST and OBC as well as the special category candidates to confirm their category. If such candidates fail to do so, then they will be counted as the General category.

  • Aspirants are required to confirm their choices before the last date.

  • Candidates who fail to pay the counselling fee and fill the choices will be filtered out from the DNB PDCET 2024 counselling process.

  • The seat will be allotted in the order of merit, availability of seats and the choices filled by the candidates during the registration process.

  • After the seat allotment, candidate who has been allotted a seat is required to provide his/her acceptance or denial regarding the same.

  • Candidates content with their seat allotment in the first round will be required to pay the one year course fee. Those who fail to pay the course fee will be filtered out from the counselling.

  • Candidates who are not satisfied with their seat can participate in the second round.

  • At the time of the online payment of the course fee, candidates are required to select the Certificate Verification and Biometric Verification centre.

  • All the aspirants who have been allotted seats in the first round are allowed to participate in the second round in order to upgrade their allotment. Also, those who have not been allotted seats can participate in the second round.

DNB PDCET 2024 allotment round 2

  • Number of vacant seats will be released by the authority.

  • Only those aspirants who have accepted the first-round allotment and all the registered candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first round of DNB PDCET 2024 counselling will be allowed to participate in the second round.

  • The choice filling and locking window will be open by the authority after the first round. Candidates have an advantage to edit and shuffle their choices.

  • Aspirants who are happy with their first round seat allotment and want to freeze it are required to remove all their higher order options from the choice filling panel. Aspirants who failed to do so and allotted an upgraded seat will have to accept the newly alloted seat.

  • The seat allocation will be made on the grounds of the choices filled by the candidate, availability of seats.

  • During the allotment, the seat vacated by the candidate because of the allocation of their higher-order options will automatically be allocated to the lower-ranked candidate.

  • Candidates who will be allotted a seat in the round will be required to pay the one year course fee if they are satisfied with the seat. Candidates who fail to pay the course fee will be filtered out from the counselling.

  • All the candidates who will not be allotted seats in the second round of DNB PDCET 2024 counselling will be eligible to participate in the third round.

DNB PDCET counselling round 3

  • Only those aspirants who have accepted the allotment by paying one-year course fee and successfully verified certificate and Biometric and aspirants who have not been allotted seat in the second round will be eligible for the third round of counselling.

  • The authority will open the choice filling and locking window after the second round of DNB PDCET counselling 2024. That time, candidates are allowed to edit and shuffle their choices.

  • During the allotment, the seat vacated by the candidate because of the allocation of their higher order options will automatically allotted to the lower ranked candidate.

  • Candidates who will be allotted a seat in the round will be required to pay the one year course fee if they are satisfied with the seat. Candidates who fail to pay the course fee will be filtered out from the counselling.

  • Aspirants who have accepted the allotment by paying one-year course fee and have successfully verified their certificate and Biometric at NBE centres can download their allotment letter from the online counselling portal and are required to report at the alloted college.

  • All aspirants need to carry their original documents at the time of reporting. All the documents will be checked by the authorities.

DNB PDCET counselling 2024 round 4

  • Candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first three rounds will be considered the fourth round i.e. the final round of DNB PDCET Counselling 2024.

  • The fourth round will be offline and will be held in the given venue and time.

  • Candidates are required to carry original documents at the time of counselling. A list of the documents required is mentioned in the page.

  • The allotment of seats will be made in order of the merit position and candidates shall be called in batches.

  • Candidates who will be allotted seats in the final round will have to pay one year course fee in the form of demand draft in favour of NBE payable at New Delhi.

Dear applicant although it is somewhat difficult for you to get DNB Obstetrics or Gynecology but yes since your are from OBC Category you have moderate possibilities of getting admissions. Though it is just an assumption but based on the rank that you secured you have better possibilities of admission in courses line MD in Pharmacology, MD in Biochemistry, MD in Anatomy, MD in General Medicine etc. But yes cut off can vary and you can get a seat.
