FMGE Result 2018 – The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will declare the result of FMGE 2018 for June Session in the second week of July 2018 tentatively. At the time of FMGE result notification, NBE will also release the schedule of the issuance of FMGE 2018 pass certificate for candidates who will qualify FMGE 2018 June session examination. NBE, the exam conducting body of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) holds the exam twice a year, in June and December. The exam is conducted for Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) with foreign medical qualifications wishing to register themselves with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council (SMC). Last year, according to NBE, candidates were required to score 150 out 300 marks to qualify FMGE 2017 December 2017 session exam. Candidates must note that FMGE is a mandatory exam for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) without which they cannot practice in India. The FMGE 2018 result for the June session exam will be declared in online mode, in the second week of July 2018 tentatively, in the form of scorecards which will comprise the candidates’ details along with the marks and the rank secured.

How to check FMGE Result 2018
To check the result of FMGE 2018 for June session, candidates need to click on the link given below.
Candidates will now need to type in their roll number and date of birth, the details of which they received during the submission of their FMGE application form.
Candidates will be redirected to their FMGE 2018 result after providing the required details.
Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the copy of their FMGE Result 2018.

FMGE 2018 Pass Certificate
NBE has released the schedule of distribution of pass certificate of FMGE 2018. The certificates will be issued for about one month after the declaration of the result of FMGE 2018 (tentatively). Candidates who will qualify FMGE 2018 June session exam, they can click the link given below to know the date on which their respective roll numbers are called for the distribution of FMGE pass certificate 2018. Candidates will be required to go to the below-mentioned address to collect their pass certificate of FMGE 2018. Candidates must note that FMGE 2018 pass certificate will be issued In-Person to the candidates. Candidates will be required to carry following documents while going for the collection of FMGE pass certificate 2018.
- Admit Card of FMGE 2018 (with latest photograph affixed on it).
- Original Passport (except those who have obtained the primary medical qualification from Nepal).
- Original MBBS Certificate
- Original Eligibility Certificate issued by MCI
- Original and Valid Voter ID card or PAN Card or Driving License or Aadhar Card

FMGE 2018 June session exam will likely be held in the second week of June 2018. The exam will be conducted in online mode and the question booklet will include 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided in two part papers - morning and afternoon session - taken in a single day. The candidates must note that there will be no negative marking in FMGE 2018, but the weightage of MCQs may vary. The question booklet pattern was based on the MBBS programme curriculum. There is no restriction on the number of attempts the candidates can avail for the FMGE exam but they can give the test only once in one testing window.
FMGE was made mandatory in the year 2002 for all FMGs who are Indian nationals or OCIs. However, students holding undergraduate or postgraduate medical degrees from Australia/Canada/New Zealand/ United Kingdom/United States of America are not required to give the FMGE exam as they can register themselves directly with the MCI or any SMC.
