The NEET MDS 2025 will be conducted online by the NBEMS. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases the information bulletin for the entrance exam along with the NEET MDS 2025 exam pattern on the official website nbe.edu.in. Dental graduates wishing to take the postgraduate dental entrance examination must go through the paper pattern of the NEET MDS for better preparation.
NBE conducts the NEET MDS in a single session in computer-based mode (CBT). As per the NEET MDS exam pattern, the CBT exam covers the BDS syllabus, which includes Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Paraclinical topics. NEET MDS 2025 syllabus covers 17 topics taught in the BDS curriculum. In the NEET MDS 2025 entrance exam, the paper will be divided into Parts A and B consisting of 100 and 140 questions, respectively. Candidates will have to answer a total of 240 MCQs that will be asked in the NEET MDS 2025 postgraduate entrance exam.

Note: It must be noted by the candidates that the NEET MDS 2025 examination will be held on a single day & single session only.
After the conclusion of the postgraduate dental examination, the authorities will release the NEET MDS result in the form of a merit list. The merit list NEET MDS 2025 mentions the details of the candidates such as the roll number, marks obtained (out of 960) and qualifying status. Along with the result of NEET MDS, the authority also announces the marks equivalent to the qualifying percentile.
Candidates securing the NEET MDS cutoff are eligible for the counselling process. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the responsible authority for conducting the NEET MDS counselling for 50% AIQ seats offered by government dental colleges, deemed/central institutes, ESIC and AFMC colleges across India.
