The information bulletin mentions the requirements for All India Quota (AIQ) 50% seats, Foreign Nationals (FN), Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG) and also common requirements separately.

Educational qualification: Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Certificate of registration: Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional) issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
Internship: As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG candidates must complete their one-year internship on or before September 30, 2026.
There is no specified maximum limit on the number of times a candidate can attempt the NEET PG examination. The authority has not specified any age limit for NEET PG 2026. Candidates can attempt the exam as many times as they wish in their pursuit of a postgraduate medical degree.

As per the NEET PG 2026 eligibility criteria, medical graduates belonging to the state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for AIQ 50% seats.
Only those candidates from J&K who have been nominated by the Government of India, under central pool seats, for pursuing MBBS from medical colleges in Jammu & Kashmir are eligible for AIQ 50% seats. These candidates have to submit a duly signed affidavit which declares that they have been nominated by the Government of India under the above-mentioned category.
