NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2019
Check the basic eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2019 of age, domicile, certificate and other details below:
MBBS degree – As per the NEET PG 2019 eligibility criteria, aspirants must possess MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized as per the provisions under Indian Medical Council 1956
Registration Certificate – Candidates must possess the permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC). As mentioned in the NEET PG eligibility conditions 2019, candidates must carry the MCI/SMC registration certificate at the NEET PG exam centre on the day of examination
Internship – In accordance of NEET PG eligibility criteria 2019, applicants should have completed or likely to complete 12 months mandatory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2019
Aadhaar Card – Candidates are required to enter their aadhaar card details at the time of NEET PG registration. Those who do not have an aadhaar card number must get it enrolled from an aadhaar card enrollment centre. While some candidates who have applied for the aadhaar card but have not received it yet, can enter the 14 digits enrollment ID
NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Jammu & Kashmir aspirants
As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2019, likewise last year, candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are eligible for 50% All India Quota seats. These states started participating in 50% AIQ scheme.
While, candidates belonging from Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to participate for NEET PG 50% All India Quota seats. However, students who were nominated by the Government of India under central pool seats for MBBS course in medical colleges in J&K are considered eligible for admission to All India 15% Quota seats, as per the guidelines in NEET PG eligibility criteria.
NEET PG 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Medical Graduates
Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have completed their Primary Medical Education from medical colleges outside India, should have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) conducted by NBE
They should have completed their internship or likely to completed their internship on or before March 31, 2019
NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Foreign Nationals
As per the new eligibility conditions of NEET PG, it is not mandatory for foreign nationals to possess the provisional MCI registration certificate at the time of NEET PG examination
The foreign nationals can write the exams without MCI registration certificate
The temporary registration will be issued with a condition that such aspirants must be duly registered with the competent registering authority of their own country
Who are not eligible for NEET PG 2019?
Any candidate found in violation of NEET PG eligibility criteria 2019 will not be allowed to appear for the national level postgraduate entrance examination. While, if any ineligible candidate successfully appears for NEET PG, his/her candidature will be cancelled
As mentioned above in the basic eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2019, candidates must complete their rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2019. Any candidate who is not likely to complete the internship within the stipulated time period will not be considered eligible for NEET PG
Aspirants who will not be able to possess the MCI/SMC registration certificate will be ineligible as per the NEET PG eligibility criteria
NEET PG 2019 will be conducted on January 6. NEET PG application form 2019 will be released in the last week of October 2018, in online mode. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode with 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The time allotted to complete NEET PG will be 3 hours 30 minutes. NEET PG result is expected to be announced in the last week of January 2019.
