NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2018 - Aspirants of NEET PG seeking admission in 2018 session, were advised to check eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2018 before filling the application form. NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2018
MBBS Degree: In accordance with NEET PG 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates must possess an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized as per the provisions laid under Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Candidates who studied/passed MBBS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J&K are not eligible for admissions in seats reserved under All India quota of 50%. However, as per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2018, if any of these candidates were nominated by GoI (Government of India) to complete MBBS degree from a medical college in former Andhra Pradesh and J&K, they will be eligible to apply for admission under 50% all India quota. Although, the candidate will require to submit a duly signed affidavit, declaring that he/she was nominated by GoI to study MBBS in that state, and a printout of the acknowledgement of online NEET PG 2018 application form submission to Deputy Director (Examinations), National Board of Examinations, Medical Enclave, Ansari Nagar, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, New Delhi- 110029.
Internship Requirement: NEET PG 2018 eligibility criteria makes it mandatory for candidates to complete the one-year rotary internship. The completion date of internship must be on or before March 31, 2018.
MCI Certificate: Candidates must possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC). As per NEET PG eligibility criteria 2018, it is necessary to furnish MCI/SMC certificate on the day of examination and at the time of counselling, otherwise, one will be deemed ineligible.
Aadhaar Card (New): Candidates (unless with domicile in J&K, Assam or Meghalaya) are required to enter their aadhaar card details at the time of online registration of NEET PG 2018. Those who do not have Aadhaar card should get themselves enrolled for aadhaar from an Aadhaar Enrollment Centre (list available at www.uidai.gov.in). Those candidates who have already applied for Aadhaar but haven't yet received it, they must enter 14 digits Aadhaar enrollment ID printed on their Aadhaar enrollment slip.
NEET PG 2018 Eligibility Criteria For Foreign Nationals
As per new guidelines, it is not mandatory for foreign nationals to possess a temporary registration certificate from MCI at the time of writing NEET PG examination.
Foreign nationals are eligible to write NEET PG, without MCI registration.
However, NEET PG eligibility criteria 2018 state that foreign nationals will be required to obtain a temporary registration certificate from MCI for the duration of PG course.
At the time of counselling, candidates who have obtained their primary medical qualification from outside India and who do not have MCI/SMC registration certificate, they are required to bring their original screening test pass certificate issued on NBE letterhead.

Who is Not eligible as per NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2018?
Candidates found in violation of eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2018 will not be permitted to appear for NEET PG entrance exam. If in case an ineligible candidate gets successful in appearing for or clearing NEET PG 2018 exam, his/her candidature will be deemed cancelled.
As per NEET PG eligibility criteria 2018, candidates are required to complete the one-year rotating internship on or before March 31, 2018. Any candidate who isn’t likely to complete his/her internship before or on this date, will not be eligible to apply for NEET PG 2018.
Applicants whose MBBS degrees aren’t recognized as per Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, they will not be eligible for NEET PG as per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2018.
Important Points for NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2018
According to NEET PG 2018 eligibility criteria, one candidate can register and appear only once for one academic year of NEET PG. This entails that once registered, a candidate will not be allowed to refill the form or change the exam location, etc. for that year.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill the start and completion dates of their one-year rotary internship. As per eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2018, the dates entered in the online form will be considered final. Thus, they should match with the dates on the original certificate when candidates furnish the certificate at the time of counselling.
