Online exam and hybrid model

The panel recommended conducting entrance tests online wherever feasible. If an online format is not practical, a hybrid model for NEET should be implemented. In this approach, the NEET exam papers would be transmitted digitally to the examination centres, while students would mark their answers on OMR sheets.

Two-stage NEET exam

The expert committee has proposed conducting the NEET UG exam in multiple stages, similar to the JEE format. This approach would enable the authorities to manage candidates more effectively and address their needs more efficiently. However, the exam will be conducted in single stage.

Limiting the number of attempts in NEET

As there is no limit to the number of attempts in the NEET exam, candidates can appear for the medical entrance test as many times as they want. The committee has also proposed to restrict the number of attempts in the NEET 2025 exam. The NTA has clarified that there is no upper age limit in NEET 2025 exam.

Recruiting full-time staff

The panel advises the NTA to recruit full-time personnel rather than relying on temporary staff. Additionally, it recommends avoiding the use of private centres for conducting the NEET UG exam.

Hello aspirant,

This kind of name order difference between your Class 10 marksheet and Aadhaar is quite common and usually does not cause serious issues for NEET 2026 . While filling the NEET form, always enter your name exactly as it appears on the Class 10 marksheet, since it is the main reference document. During counselling, if asked, you can explain the difference and keep a simple affidavit or supporting ID ready to confirm both names belong to you.

Hope the details will help you.
