NEET PG Exam Pattern 2020 - Medical graduates who wish to appear for postgraduate medical entrance examination should be familiar with NEET PG 2020 exam pattern. National Board of Education (NBE) will be conducting NEET PG entrance exam nationwide in the first week of January. The exam pattern of NEET PG includes details like mode of exam, number of questions, timings, syllabus, etc. to help candidates understand the pattern of the entrance exam. NBE will release the information brochure for NEET PG 2020 in the first week of November, this will include all important details pertaining to the entrance exam. NEET PG is conducted once a year in online mode for admission to medical colleges across the nation.

NEET PG Exam Pattern 2020

It is indispensable for candidates to understand NEET PG 2020 exam pattern before beginning to prepare strategies for the entrance exam preparation. The important details pertaining to the exam pattern are given i the points below.

  • Exam Date and Mode - NBE will be conducting NEET PG 2020 in the first week of January (tentatively) in computer based mode.

  • Language of Exam - The exam will be conducted in English language

  • Duration of Exam - Candidates will be allotted a total of 3 hours 30 minutes to complete their examination

  • Types of questions and total marks- NEET PG 2020 will consist of objective type questions and the maximum marks is 1200

  • Total number of questions - According to the exam pattern of NEET PG there will be a total of 300 questions in the entrance examination which will be divided into three sections

  • Number of questions from each section - The section wise distribution of questions is given in the table below.

Hello there!

Greetings!

NEET PG 2020 will be conducted on January 5, 2020. Exact dates haven't been released but tentatively the application process of NEET PG 2020 will start in the first week of November 2019 , While students can fill their application form till fourth week of November 2019 . So, last date will be 4th week of November 2019.
In the application process, candidates have to register online , fill the application details, upload photograph and signature and make application fee payment.

As per NEET PG 2020 Eligibility Criteria,

candidate must have provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. that is to be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.


So, having a provisional certificate is also applicable.


In addition to the above criteria, candidates needs to have a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by MCI and have a degree or provisional certificate.Also, it's mandatory to have completed rotatory internship on or before 31st March, 2020.

If you are asking about neet pg, then photo requirements for neet pg application form is that"-
  • it should be a color one with white background only and at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate, it should be passport-size, and not older than 6 months,
  • should be devoid of any border and the facial features and should be clearly visible,recently clicked,
  • Should be having the name of candidate ,date of capturing the photograph  imprinted at the bottom of the photo,
  • should be of 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height) in dimension and
  • the file size not more than 80 KB,printed on a high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dp.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.
