With a NEET score of 312, getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college through the All India Quota (AIQ) is unlikely, even for reserved categories, as AIQ closing scores are generally higher. Under the State Quota, your chances depend on your category, state of domicile, and previous year cut-offs.
In some states with lower cut-offs (like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, or some northeastern states), you may get a government BDS seat or a MBBS seat in private colleges under the state quota. For SC/ST categories, MBBS chances in state colleges slightly improve. If you belong to General or OBC, options are limited to private colleges or deemed universities, where the fee can range from 8 to 20 lakh per year.
You should also consider BAMS, BHMS, BPT, or B.Sc. Nursing programs, which accept lower NEET scores and offer good career prospects.
According to your rank that is 1,172 in NEET MDS your chances of getting HS judge college is possible. Your rank will easily fall within the cutoff range. The branches tha you can expect are Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, or Prosthodontics.
