Admission to an MBBS seat is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET 2026 exam, which is the single largest medical entrance exam in India. Candidate must be an Indian, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals
Candidates must be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.
Candidates must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as subjects. However, candidates appearing for their class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to appear for the exam.

Candidates have to fill out the application form for management quota, separately for deemed and private universities for MBBS admission for granting admission under this quota. Assuming the increasing level of competition for MBBS admission, it is a very tedious task for aspirants to get admission on the basis of their merit rank. So in that case, in order to get admission, candidates can secure MBBS admission through the management quota in government medical college.
Through recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and recommended by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI), Deemed University is an institution that has gained the status of a university. MCC will conduct the counselling for deemed direct admission in MBBS through management quota. NEET aspirants need to register themselves by entering their personal, academic, communication and other asked details, to participate in the MBBS admission process of Deemed University.
After registration, as per the preferences aspirants must provide their choices of Deemed universities in which they wish to get admission.
