In order to grant MBBS admission through the management quota, aspirants have to fulfil the conditions of eligibility for admission. The Medical Council of India (MCI) is the authority competent to specify the eligibility criteria of MBBS admission through management quota to provide medical education in India. Candidates must note the eligibility condition for MBBS admission via management quota is only applicable after qualifying for NEET, so, aspirants have to appear for the medical entrance test after fulfilling their NEET UG eligibility criteria. Candidate must be an Indian, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals
Candidates must be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2025.
Candidates must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as subjects. However, candidates appearing for their class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to appear for the exam.
Medical aspirants must have to secure a valid NEET score for granting MBBS admission across the country.

Candidates have to fill out the application form for management quota, separately for deemed and private universities for MBBS admission for granting admission under this quota. Assuming the increasing level of competition for MBBS admission, it is a very tedious task for aspirants to get admission on the basis of their merit rank. So in that case, in order to get admission, candidates can secure MBBS admission through the management quota in government medical college.
Through recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and recommended by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI), Deemed University is an institution that has gained the status of a university. MCC will conduct the counselling for deemed direct admission in MBBS through management quota. NEET aspirants need to register themselves by entering their personal, academic, communication and other asked details, to participate in the MBBS admission process of Deemed University.
After registration, as per the preferences aspirants must provide their choices of Deemed universities in which they wish to get admission. Admission to the management quota of Deemed University MBBS will be granted based on NEET 2025 results, preferences of colleges and courses, seat availability, reservation criteria and other determining factors.
Aspirants can go through the counselling procedure of Deemed University MBBS admission through the management quota from below.
In India, all 23 states offer 50465 MBBS seats for admission through the management quota in private colleges for which aspirants have to apply separately. For management quota seats in private MBBS admission, there are no domicile criteria required, so aspirants from any state can register for counselling for MBBS admission through management quota seats for any competent state authority. In order to apply for MBBS admission, candidates have to pay the requisite application fee and fill out the form and register themselves successfully. Every state has its own counselling procedure, which includes the release of state MBBS merit list, and filling of online or offline choices/preferences of colleges. Based on the choices made, availability of seats, NEET UG merit position, reservation criteria and various other determining factors, admission to MBBS seats to private college management quota will be granted. Candidates have to report at the allotted college based on their MBBS seat allotment.

The NEET application form usually opens in February and the last date is usually in March . The exam is generally held in May . The form is filled online on the official NTA NEET website.
For the SC category , you need at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12 to be eligible. The minimum age required is 17 years , and there is no upper age limit .
