    • Banking server issues: There may be delay in communication between the bank and NTA portal, leading to stuck or failed transactions.

    • Entering incorrect payment details: It may be the case that incorrect card information or OTP has been entered while making the payment.

    • Insufficient funds in the bank accounts: If a bank account or card does not have enough funds, the NEET UG 2026 payment issue will occur.

    • Unstable internet: If the internet speed is slow, the encryption between the bank and NTA website will not happen resulting in NEET UG payment issues.

    The NTA has released an official video guiding candidates on NEET UG payment issues 2026. The authority has specified certain points on what to do if NEET 2026 payment fails. As per the NTA, instead of immediately retrying payment, candidates are advised to:

    • Wait for some time after the initial payment attempt as the bank may take time to update the transaction status.

    • In case the payment is not successful, candidates must log out and then log in back after some time to check the payment status.

    • Candidates must check the payment status verification option available on the NEET application form portal to confirm whether the fee has been paid or not.

    Candidates can check the payment status of NEET 2026 from the official website. A successful NEET 2026 application form fee payment status is confirmed when the portal generates a payment receipt. Candidates can check the NEET 2026 payment status by following the steps mentioned below.

    What to do if money is deducted but status is still ‘INCOMPLETE’?

    It may happen that the NEET 2026 application fee has been deducted from the candidate’s account; however, the portal shows an ‘Incomplete’ fee payment status. In such cases, candidates must not panic and follow the below mentioned instructions.

    • Log in back through the NEET 2026 candidate login after some time and check the payment status.

    • If the fee payment status shows ‘Incomplete’, the candidate has to pay the form fees again to ensure the application is accepted before the NEET 2026 form last date.

    • If the duplicate payments have been made, it is automatically refunded later but can take time.
