  • Candidates should be citizens of India.

After normalisation, in case two or more candidates obtain equal marks, the authority applies the below mentioned tie-breaking criteria to prepare the merit list of Tamil Nadu BSc nursing admission 2025.

  • A candidate with a higher percentage in Biology (Botany & Zoology) is placed in a higher position in the merit list.

  • If tie is not resolved, a candidate with a higher percentage in Chemistry subjects in class 12 is placed in a higher position.

  • Next, a candidate with a higher percentage of marks in the Physics subject from class 12 is placed higher.

  • If tie still persists, the candidate with the higher percentage in the fourth optional subject is placed higher in the merit list.

  • The next, tie is resolved by placing the older candidate at a higher merit rank.
