The cutoff of NEET UG 2026 can be influenced by several factors. Some of these factors that can affect the NEET 2026 cutoff are as follows -
Difficulty Level: If the question paper of NEET UG is tougher than previous years, the cutoff usually drops. Similarly, an easier paper pushes the cutoff higher.
Number of Aspirants: A higher number of candidates appearing for the exam generally leads to tough competition and a higher cutoff, similarly, a lower number of candidates appearing for the exam can lead to slightly low competition and lower cutoff.
Total Seat Matrix: The availability of MBBS/BDS seats in government and private colleges also plays a major role in deciding the NEET UG cutoff. More seats can lead to a slight dip in the cutoff, whereas, less seats can lead to higher cutoff.
