The Bachelor’s in Biotechnology or Biotechnology (Honours) is generally a 3-year undergraduate program (4 years in some Honours formats). Biotechnology combines biological sciences with technology. Students who complete this programme work in industries such as healthcare, agriculture, food, and the environment. This course provides a solid foundation in biology while also training students in laboratory techniques, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, and industrial technology.

The B.Sc. Biotechnology or Biotechnology (Hons.) syllabus is designed to provide a solid foundation in biological sciences as well as the practical application of technology.
