Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra NEET application form 2026

The eligibility criteria for Maharashtra NEET 2026 must be carefully reviewed before filling up the application form. If a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility requirements, the Maharashtra MBBS/BDS application form will be rejected by the authorities.

Nationality:

  • Indian nationals are eligible to fill out the Maharashtra MBBS 2026 application form.
  • Overseas Citizens of India can apply for Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2026 at government, cooperative, government-aided, and private unaided colleges.
  • Aspirants from NRI countries will only be eligible to fill out the Maharashtra NEET 2026 form for institutional quotas. Candidates will be allocated 15% of the seats in Maharashtra private unaided colleges under the institutional quota.

Domicile:

  • Candidates must be residents of Maharashtra state or have been living there for a minimum of 10 years to be eligible for Maharashtra MBBS 2026.
  • The institutional quota is open to NRIs, OCIs, and students from outside Maharashtra

Age:

  • A candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age

Qualification:

  • A candidate applying for Maharashtra MBBS 2026 must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects from a state-run school/institute.

Minimum marks required:

  • A minimum score of 50% is needed in the qualifying class 12 examination for candidates from the UR category, whereas a minimum score of 40% is required for candidates from the reserved category. For applicants under the UR PWD category, 45% is required to apply for Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2026.

How to fill the Maharashtra NEET 2026 application form?

Candidates can complete the Maharashtra MBBS application form 2026 after reading the instructions. Below are the steps for filling out the Maharashtra MBBS/BDS application form 2026.

Step 1: Maharashtra MBBS registration 2026

As part of the application process, candidates must provide their personal information, including their name, parents' names, date of birth, nationality, and, if they are NRIs, gender and minority information. Additionally, applicants must enter their complete address, mobile number, and active email address in the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 application form.

Step 2: Filling NEET UG 2026 related details

Candidates need to fill in NEET 2026 details since Maharashtra MBBS admissions will be based on UG medical entrance exams. Candidates must enter their roll number, application number, score, percentile, and NEET 2026 All India Rank on the Maharashtra MBBS/BDS application form.

Step 6: Uploading the documents

Candidates will have to upload documents after paying the Maharashtra MBBS 2026 application form fee. The following is a list of documents to be uploaded to the Maharashtra NEET UG application form.

  • Any photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN card)
