Maharashtra MBBS Application Form 2018 – The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, has released the Maharashtra MBBS 2018 application form on June 7, 2018. The candidates will be able to fill the application form of Maharashtra MBBS 2018 till June 17 and complete the offline payment till June 18, 2018. Maharashtra MBBS application form 2018 has been released in online mode. The candidates who want to apply for 85% State Quota seats of Maharashtra state must check the eligibility criteria as stated by the conducting authority and then fill the application form of Maharashtra MBBS 2018. Only the candidates who will successfully submit the Maharashtra MBBS 2018 application form will be eligible for inclusion in the provisional merit list of Maharashtra MBBS 2018 which will be published on June 19, 2018.

Maharahstra MBBS BDS Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

  • General Eligibility – The candidate must be a citizen of India/OCI. The aspirants should be medically fit to pursue the respective course. NRI candidates will be only eligible for seats available under institutional quota.

  • Domicile – The candidate must be a domicile of Maharashtra state to be eligible to fill Maharashtra MBBS 2018 application form. The OCI candidates can also show that they have stayed in the state for 10 years if they do not have a domicile certificate.

  • Age criteria – The candidate should be born on or between May 7, 1993 (1988 in the case of reserved categories) and on or before January 1, 2002 to be eligible.

  • Academic qualification – The candidates must fulfill the following academic qualifications to fill Maharashtra MBBS application form 2018 -

    • The candidate must complete Class 10 or equivalent examination from an institute located in Maharashtra state. 

    • The candidate must complete Class 12 or equivalent examination from an institute situated in the state of Maharashtra. (As per the interim order issued by Bombay High Court on June 11, 2018, candidates need not complete Class 12 from the state if they have completed Class 10 from an Institution located in Maharashtra and are a domicile of the state)

    • The candidate must have scored qualifying marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 or equivalent examination.

    • The candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in aggregate which means 150 marks out of 300 if he/she belongs to the Unreserved or Open category of Maharashtra state. For Reserved category and PwD candidates belonging to reserved category, the minimum qualifying percentage is 40%. For PwD candidates belonging to open category, it is 45%.

  • Minimum Required Percentile - The candidate must secure minimum required percentile in NEET UG 2018 -

Registration – Submission of Personal Details

The candidates will be required to submit their personal details like -

Submission of Academic Details

The candidates will be required to submit their NEET UG 2018 details along with Class 12 details like-

  • NEET UG Roll No.

  • NEET UG Application No.

  • NEET Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology section.

  • Overall NEET 2018 score

  • NEET 2018 Percentile Score

  • NEET All India Rank

  • Candidate’s parent is an employee of Government of India/Government of Maharashtra, if applicable.

  • State of passing Class 10

  • Optional language opted in Class 10

  • State of passing Class 12

  • District of passing Class 12

  • Class 12 marks

  • Provisional Region of passing Class 12

  • Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

  • Class 12 total marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  • Class 12 percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

 

 

Highlights of Maharashtra MBBS BDS Application Form 2018

  • The authorities will be communicating via email if needed. Therefore, the candidates should have a valid email ID when filling the Maharashtra MBBS 2018 application form.

  • The candidates must check the eligibility criteria of Maharashtra MBBS 2018 before filling the application form.

  • The candidates will not be allowed to change their details if they have clicked on the submit button. Therefore, the aspirants are advised to fill their correct details and recheck them before submission.

  • The documents should not be submitted along with the application form of Maharashtra MBBS 2018. The candidates will be called for document verification session after the successful submission of Maharashtra MBBS application form 2018.

  • The aspirants are only required to submit one Maharashtra MBBS 2018 application form. If in case they have submitted more than one application form then their money will not be refunded and all the application forms will be cancelled. Such candidates will become ineligible for Maharashtra MBBS 2018 admission.

 

Submission of Reservation Details

The candidates belonging to any constitutional reservation category of Maharashtra state like Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes (VJ/DT) - A, Nomadic Tribes (NT) - B, Nomadic Tribes (NT) - C, Nomadic Tribes (NT) - D, Other Backward Classes (OBC) should submit their details such as whether their caste certificate is valid or not. The candidates belonging to OBC category should be from Non Creamy Layer. The PwD candidates should mention their percentage of disability. The candidates are also required to submit which centre they want to choose for document verification session amongst the ones mentioned below:

  • RA Podar Ayurvedic College, Worli, Mumbai
  • BJ Government Medical College, Pune

  • Government Ayurvedic College, Nagpur

Submission of Password

The candidates must submit a password which they are advised to remember because the candidates will be required to login the next time with this very password. After the submission of the password, the candidates must click on submit details because the details will be only considered final after clicking on submit button.

Payment of Fee

The candidates have to submit a fee of Rs. 1,060 for the successful submission of Maharashtra MBBS 2018 application form wherein INR 1,000 is the administrative charge and INR 60 is the bank charge. The application fee will be submitted in the form of Bank Challan at State Bank of India (SBI) and can be done till June 18, 2018. The candidates should preserve a copy of Bank Challan for reference.
