J & K MBBS Counselling 2018 –
The conducting authority of J & K MBBS 2018 counselling, Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) will tentatively start the counselling process by the last week of June 2018. The Counselling for J & K NEET MBBS 2018 will be online wherein candidates are required to fill in their preferences. J & K MBBS 2018 counselling will mainly have two rounds followed by one final round of counselling for the vacant seats. The counselling of J & K MBBS 2018 will be for the 100% state quota seats which include 500 medical and 300 dental seats in the various government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir. The candidates are required to attend the document verification session in order to be included in the provisional state merit list. Only those candidates whose names will be included in the state merit list released by the conducting authority will be able to participate in the J & K MBBS 2018 counselling sessions. The students will be admitted to various courses/colleges through J & K MBBS counselling 2018 based on their preferences and their merit which is based on the NEET score. It is, therefore, advisable on the part of the candidates to fill in their preferences based on their Score of NEET UG.

J & K NEET MBBS BDS Counselling 2018 – Highlights

  • Counselling for J & K MBBS BDS 2018 will be online.

  • The candidates who have obtained the minimum percentile required in the NEET 2018 exam and have attended the document verification session will be listed in the provisional state merit list released by the authorities.

  • The candidates included in the J & K MBBS merit list 2018 need to fill in the online preference/application form in order to participate in the counselling process.

  • J & K MBBS 2018 counselling will majorly be conducted in two rounds followed by one final round for the vacant seats. The candidates selected after each round of counselling will be published by the conducting authority for J & K MBBS 2018.

  • Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round of J & K MBBS counselling 2018 can apply for choice upgradation in the next round but will have to surrender the previously allotted seats. Such candidates will be allotted seats based upon their new choices.

  • The final round of counselling for J & K MBBS 2018 will be conducted for the vacant seats for only those candidates whose names are included in the state merit list but were not allotted seats in any of the previous rounds.

  • Candidates who have been allotted seats in the upgradation round of J & K MBBS counselling 2018 but were absent or candidates who did not produce valid certificates at the time of document verification or later within the stipulated time will not be considered for the final round.

Procedure for J & K MBBS BDS Counselling 2018

  • The candidates included in the provisional state merit list will have to log in to the official website of J & K MBBS admission 2018.

  • Candidates are required to fill in the online preference form by providing all the relevant details.

  • The list of institutes will be displayed and the candidates can select among them. All the details of the disciplines and colleges participating in counselling for J & K MBBS 2018 will also be available.

  • The candidates can choose as many options as they want according to their order of preference. There is also an option of deleting and rearranging of options.

  • Candidates participating in the J & K MBBS 2018 counselling are permitted to conduct a mock exercise of filling up of the preferences and this shall be available until the time as may be notified by the BOPEE.

  • Candidates are required to fill up at least one preference for a discipline/college while filling up the preference form of J & K MBBS counselling 2018, else they would not be able to proceed further.

  • Candidates need to click on the lock/submit button after they are satisfied with their choices within the provided time or the choices will be automatically locked.

  • It should be noted that candidates participating in the Counselling of J & K MBBS 2018 can modify and save the choices as many times but lock only once.

  • Result for each round will be published after counselling session for that round is over. Candidates can take print out of the same for future reference.

  • Candidates who have been allotted seats through J & K MBBS 2018 counselling will have to report to the allotted college with all the relevant documents for taking admission.

  • NEET Result/Score and admit card

  • Class 10 and Class 12 Certificate and Mark sheet

  • Application/Registration form

  • Date of Birth Certificate

  • ID Proof

  • Domicile Certificate

  • State Subject Certificate

  • Category certificate, P&B Certificate if applicable

  • Children of defence personnel (CDP) certificate, if applicable

  • Certificate for children of Permanent Residents of Paramilitary Forces and State Police Personnel serving in the State (JKPM), if applicable

  • Sports category certificate for candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports (SP) issued by Secretary, J & K Sports Council
