MP MBBS CounsellingMP MBBS Counselling 2017 With the Supreme Court order on August 29 requiring admissions to be held again in Madhya Pradesh, a fresh merit list and MP MBBS counselling schedule for first round has been released by the Department of Medical Education (DME), Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 30. As per the new counselling schedule, admissions through the first round of counselling will take place in online mode between August 31 (12.01 am onwards) to September 1 (till 9.00 am). The seat allotment and document verification will be concluded by the DME by September 4 after which the second round of counselling will be conducted. Earlier, as per the Madhya Pradesh High Court order passed on August 24, the NEET counselling process in Madhya Pradesh was put on hold till further notice. All candidates who wished to resign from the seat allotted to them through the first round of MP MBBS Counselling could do so beyond August 25 without being subject to Seat Leaving Bond liability. However, with the new order from the apex court, counselling is to be freshly conducted from the beginning and all processes which had taken place till now stand null and void. All of these candidates who secured admissions in the first and second counselling rounds will now have to produce their allotment certificate from the college they took admissions in and produce this during the seat verification formalities in the new round, instead of the original certificates. They will also have to pay the difference in fee if allotted a new college through the fresh first round of MP MBBS and BDS Counselling

The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, the conducting body of MP MBBS is responsible for supervising the counselling of MP MBBS 2017. The DME had earlier conducted the second round of counselling between August 18 and August 19. As per a revised schedule released by DME MP on July 18, the counselling for MP MBBS 2017 Admissions started from July 12 onwards (changed from July 22) and took place till July 20 (changed from July 28). According to the official notification released by Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, the counselling was and will again be held in online mode only. For those unaware, the MP MBBS counselling 2017 will take place in two rounds. MP MBBS admission 2017 for 85% state quota seats will be done by the conducting body while admission to remaining 15% All India quota seats has been done by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).  The MP MBBS 2017 counselling will be held for only those candidates who qualify NEET and meet its expected cutoff as indicted through the MP MBBS Merit List. Therefore, in order to be considered for MP MBBS admission 2017, candidates must clear NEET and secure a place in the new merit list released on August 30.

Madhya Pradesh MBBS conducting body will not conduct its state level medical entrance exam following the orders of Supreme Court of India. In 2016, the court scrapped every state level medical and dental entrance exam and replaced it with the existing NEET 2017.

MP MBBS 2017 Counselling Procedure

 

Step 1: Registration

  • Enter candidate's name, NEET rank and application number

  • Create a password to register for the MP MBBS counselling 2017

  • Fill in the details and user ID and password will be created for the candidate

  • Login with the same ID and password

Note- Candidate will receive the official notification of the MP MBBS 2017 counselling on their registered email address and the registered contact details.

 

Step 2: Details

  • The second step requires a candidate to click on the link shared on this page

  • The next page will require user id and password of the candidate

  • Candidates are required to fill their personal details such as their father's name, mother's name, Date of Birth (DOB) among others

  • After the complete information is filled, candidates are recommended to go through the entire application form and click 'Save and Proceed' button

  • If candidates have applied any reservation category, they have to mention the same

Step 3: Documents

 

In order to complete the MP MBBS counselling 2017, candidates are required to submit few documents to be considered for the counselling of MP MBBS 2017. Below candidates can find the list of documents that has to be scanned and uploaded:

  • NEET 2017 Rank Card

  • Class 10 Mark Sheet

  • Class 12 Mark Sheet

  • NEET 2017 Admit Card

  • Caste Certificate (if any)

  • Income certificate for OBC category applicants

  • Domicile Certificate issued by competent authority
