MP MBBS Counselling 2018 – Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh will start MP MBBS 2018 counselling by the fourth week of June 2018, tentatively. The mode of counselling for MP MBBS 2018 will be online. There will be two rounds of MP MBBS counselling 2018 and an additional round in case if any seats are left vacant. Only the candidates whose names have been mentioned in the merit list of MP MBBS 2018 published by the DME will be eligible to attend the counselling process. The counselling is conducted for the 85% state quota seats which include 754 seats in medical and 1164 seats in dental colleges. MP MBBS counselliing 2018 will be conducted for the government and the private colleges. Candidates are required to fill in the application form of MP MBBS 2018 in order to be eligible for the counselling sessions. Admissions through MP MBBS 2018 counselling will consider both the choices of the candidates during the process of online MP MBBS counselling 2018 and merit. The merit will be determined by the score obtained by the candidates in the NEET UG 2018 examination. Candidates should thus give their preferences according to the NEET score.

Highlights of MP MBBS BDS Counselling 2018
The counselling for MP MBBS BDS 2018 will be conducted online.
Candidates need to fill in the MP MBBS BDS application form 2018 in order to be eligible for MP MBBS counselling 2018.
The conducting authority will publish the merit list of MP MBBS BDS 2018 containing the names of all the candidates who will fill up the application form and secure the qualifying percentile in the NEET 2018 examination.
Admission to MP MBBS BDS 2018 will be on the basis of the NEET UG 2018 score as well as the preferences of the candidates opted for during MP MBBS BDS counselling 2018.
MP MBBS BDS Counselling 2018 Procedure
Candidates need to log in to the portal where they have filled up the MP MBBS application form 2018.
Candidates need to click n the ‘choice filling’ button present on the left side of the window.
The list of medical and dental colleges participating in MP MBBS BDS 2018 counselling will pop-up.
Candidates need to check the boxes in front of the given college list according to their order of preference for MP MBBS 2018.
The order of preference selected by the candidates through the counselling of MP MBBS BDS 2018 will appear in the ‘Selected Preference Box’
Candidates will also be able to change the order of the preference given in the Selected Preference Box by using up/down arrow buttons and bring the choices of MP MBBS BDS 2018 to the desired positions.
Candidates need to select 'Submit List of Preferences' button to confirm their selection of preference.
Candidates must fill maximum choices during MP MBBS 2018 counselling so that the possibility of college allotment will be maximum.
Candidates can save their choices by clicking on the ‘save preference’ button and proceed to lock the choices.
The candidates can add, modify, change, remove, and re-order the choices before proceeding for payment of the counselling fee by clicking on ‘change college preference’
Candidates will not be able to alter the choices once the payment of the fee has been done. The fee for counselling of MP MBBS BDS 2018 is 100 INR.
After making the payment of the application fee, candidates need to take a print-out of their choices locked for MP MBBS BDS counselling 2018.
