Rajasthan NEET MBBS Counselling 2018 – Office of the Chairman, NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board and Principal & Controller, SMS Medical College & Attached Hospitals, Jaipur is conducting the round two of Rajasthan MBBS counselling 2018 in offline mode. In accordance with the latest notification candidates will be required to the allotted centre as per their state merit rank and the order of the same can be checked below. The round two of counselling was scheduled to start from July 25 but was postponed till the round two of centralised counselling is concluded i.e. on August 10. The regulatory body has released the detailed schedule of the round two of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 counselling on August 6. The counselling of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 for round one started on June 25, 2018. The result of the seat allotment for the first round of counselling for Rajasthan MBBS 2018 was released on July 5, 2018. The mode of Rajasthan MBBS 2018 counselling was online. Candidates were required to fill in and lock their choices for Rajasthan MBBS counselling 2018 by June 27 (11.45 PM). The authorities released the state merit list on June 28, 2018 which indicates the candidates eligible for the counselling process.

Seat allotment after counselling for Rajasthan MBBS 2018 will be held in two rounds followed by a mop-up round (for the seats that remain vacant). The counselling for Rajasthan MBBS is conducted for the state quota seats in the government as well as private colleges which sums up to a total of about 2,075 medical and 1,190 dental seats.

Candidates need to complete the process of online application and choice filling in order to be able to be eligible for the admission process. Admission of candidates to Rajasthan MBBS 2018 will be taken on the basis of both the NEET UG 2018 scores and the preferences of the candidates during filling up the choices online. Rajasthan MBBS BDS Counselling - Round Two

The conducting body postponed the second round of counselling as the counselling for 15% All India Quota was earlier kept in abeyance. With the release of round two seat allotment result, the state counselling is scheduled to start from August 10, 2018. The latest notification states the detailed order of the candidates reporting which is given in the table below. The candidates will be required to report at SMS Medical College as per their merit rank to participate in the counselling process. Candidates willing to participate must bring a demand draft of INR 10,000 for government medical colleges and a demand draft of INR 1,00,000 for private medical college. Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round of counselling and also reported at the allotted college are not required to submit the demand draft.

Official notice pertaining to the delay in counselling was released which can be checked here. The High Court of Rajasthan has ordered that the counselling for state quota seats will not start until the second round of centralised counselling is completed. The reason for the rescheduling is after the conclusion of the round two of counselling for 15% All India Quota seats, the vacant seats will be transferred to the respective states and can be included in the state quota seats. The regulatory body has earlier released the schedule for the second round of counselling which now stands cancelled. The merit list for round two has been issued on July 24, 2018 post which the counselling process was scheduled to start. Unlike the first round, the round two of counselling will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates must carry the mandatory documents while reporting at the counselling venue.

The counselling authority has released the result of Rajasthan MBBS BDS seat allotment on July 5, 2018. The seat allotment list includes the names of the candidates and the college/course they have been allotted based on their preferences and their NEET UG scores. Highlights of Rajasthan MBBS BDS Counselling 2018

  • The mode of conducting Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 counselling is online and offline.

  • Candidates are required to secure the qualifying percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination and have completed the process of online application in order to participate in the Rajasthan MBBS 2018 counselling/choice filling process.

  • The counselling authorities have published a merit list of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 which will include the names of all such candidates eligible for the process of admission.

  • Admission to Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 takes into consideration the NEET scores as well as preferences of the candidates. Allotment of seats, however, will be on the basis of NEET UG scores only.

  • Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round of Rajasthan MBBS BDS counselling 2018 can opt for choice upgradation in the next round.

  • Candidates who failed to participate in the first choice filling/counselling session of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018 are not eligible for further counselling rounds.

Rajasthan NEET MBBS BDS Counselling 2018 – Procedure (Round 1)

  • The candidates need to fill in the online application form of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018.

  • After filling in the application form, candidates need to fill in the choices of institutes participating in Rajasthan MBBS BDS counselling 2018.

  • Based on candidates’ choices for counselling of Rajasthan MBBS BDS 2018, an indicative allotment of seats will be displayed. Candidates can modify their choices before locking them.

  • Rajasthan MBBS BDS merit list 2018 category-wise is then be displayed consisting of the names of candidates eligible to attend that particular round of counselling.

  • The allotment list for the first, second and mop-up round containing names of the candidates in the order of merit is published on the official website of Rajasthan MBBS 2018 admission. 

  • Candidates included in the seat allotment lists are then required to report to SMS Medical College, Jaipur with all the original documents, a demand draft of the prescribed fee amount, and two copies of the registration form for submission of the necessary documents.
