Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu conducts counselling of Tamil Nadu NEET 2024 for 85% of seats under state quota and 100% of seats in self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling round wise allotments are released at tnmedicalselection.net. A link to download the Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 counselling schedule will be provided below.
Candidates who have been included in the Tamil Nadu NEET merit list 2024 will be called for counselling. The details of Tamil Nadu NEET counselling will be updated here after availability. Three rounds of Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2024 including a mop-up round will be conducted. During Tamil Nadu NEET counselling for MBBS/BDS students will be asked to submit their choices of courses and colleges they wish to get admission into.
Based on the TN medical selection choice filling, NEET UG score, state merit rank, reservation, and other factors, Tamil Nadu MBBS seat allotment will be done. Candidates who will be allotted seats during counselling of Tamil Nadu NEET 2024 will have to report to the allotted institute to reserve their admission. DME, Tamil Nadu is responsible for conducting Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS counselling for 85% state quota and 100% private colleges seats. Admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be granted through NEET 2024 counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). To participate in Tamil Nadu MBBS 2024 counselling students have to fill the online application form from the link which will be provided above in the article. It must be noted that only candidates who will qualify the NEET exam will be eligible for admission through Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS counselling. Candidates who will secure the NEET cut off 2024 and fill the online Tamil Nadu NEET application form will be included in the Tamil Nadu MBBS merit list 2024.
Those included in the merit list will be required to download the call letter and report to the Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling venue. Pay the counselling fee of Rs 500 for government colleges and Rs. 1000 for self financing colleges via demand draft in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10”
Download the call letter for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling from the link which will be provided here. Candidates will have to enter their application number and DOB to download the counselling call letter.
The call letter will mention the date and time for counselling of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2024.
Report to the counselling venue as per the schedule.
Ensure to carry all the required documents for counselling of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2024.
During Tamil Nadu NEET 2024 counselling candidates will be asked to submit the choices of courses and colleges.
Candidates can submit as many choices as they wish.
Based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET 2024 marks, and other factors authority will conduct the seat allotment of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2024.
The Tamil Nadu seat allotment list will be published on the Tamil Nadu NEET counselling official website - tnmedicalselection.net.
The Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2024 seat allotment list will mention the name of the medical/dental colleges allotted, rank, candidates details, total marks, and community.
Candidates who will be allotted seats will be granted a provisional allotment order for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission.
Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted institute for reserving Tamil Nadu NEET 2024 admission.

Two rounds of Tamil Nadu NEET 2024 counselling followed by a mop-up round will be conducted.
Candidates who will not report for the first/second round of counselling will not be eligible to participate in the next round of Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling 2024.
Candidates who will not join the allotted seat will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds of Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2024 counseling.
During the second round of Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling, students will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 500/1000 for government/self financing colleges.
Candidates who will be wait-listed or allotted seats during round one will not be required to pay any fee during the round two of Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling 2024.
All candidates who will either join or wait-listed in the first and second round of counselling can participate in Tamil Nadu NEET 2024 counselling mop-up round.
