Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling 2019 - Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Tamil Nadu will conduct of Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 counselling in offline mode. Only candidates included in the state merit list will be called for the counselling of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019. DMET, Tamil Nadu will organise two rounds of counselling for government as well as management quota. The eligible aspirants will be called for counselling as per their merit position in the state rank list for admission to 85% state quota seats. As per the eligibility criteria, it is mandatory for students to qualify in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) by securing the minimum qualifying percentile for admission to medical and dental colleges.

Before the Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling procedure, the selected candidates must attend the document verification process. Only aspirants whose relevant documents will be verified are eligible to participate for counselling process. Thereafter, students must report login using the Tamil Nadu MBBS application form credentials to provide their choices of colleges and courses. Based on these preferences, TN MBBS state merit rank, reservation criteria, seats available and other factors, the seat will be allotted. From all the government medical colleges across India, 15% seats will be reserved for candidates selected under All India Quota seats. The counselling for AIQ seats, Central and Deemed universities will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of scores obtained in NEET 2019.

TN MBBS/BDS 2019 counselling will be organised by DMET, Tamil Nadu for admission to around 3947 MBBS and 985 BDS seats offered by government as well as private colleges located in the state.
Candidates included in the Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 merit list will be called for counselling process.
The regulatory bodies will conduct two rounds of MBBS and BDS counselling for government and management quota seats. In case of any vacant seats left, a mop-up round of counselling will be conducted.
The counselling for special category will be held on a separate date.
Based on the MBBS rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses, seats availability, state reservation criteria and other details, the Tamil Nadu MBBS admission 2019 will be done.

Before the commencement of counselling process, the registered aspirants must report at the particular venue for verification of documents. All the relevant documents must be carried and in case of incorrect document the candidature will be cancelled.
After the document verification, aspirants must login using the required credentials to fill the preferences of colleges and courses. It is important to fill the choices of colleges and courses as the admission will be done based on these preferences.
Candidates can submit as many number of choices as they want during the filling the choices.
After the process of online counselling, aspirants can download the call letters by entering the required details. A link to download the Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling call letter will be made available on this page, when released.
The counselling call letter will indicate the date, time and venue to report at the Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 counselling.
It is important for aspirants to report for TN MBBS counselling 2019 as per the date and time specified by the authority.
The state merit rank, preferences filled, availability of seats, reservation criteria and other factors are the basis for admission to Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019.
Once the counselling session is over, the result of each round of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 seat allotment will be announced in the form of PDF.

The reservation of seats in Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS admission is only for the state quota seats available in government medical and dental colleges.
