As per the latest update, the Supreme Court of India has dismissed the plea for conducting an additional Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET PG 2025. Now no further counselling rounds will be conducted and the remaining vacant PG medical seats will remain unfilled.

Not all candidates are eligible to participate in the special stray vacancy round of NEET PG counselling. Therefore, candidates must check their eligibility before registering for special stray vacancy round NEET PG from the points mentioned below.
Only those candidates who are not holding and have not joined any seat in the previous rounds of NEET PG counselling (All India Quota, State Quota, or Deemed University) are eligible to participate.
Candidates who have already been allotted and have joined a seat through AIQ, State Counselling, or Deemed University are not eligible.
Candidates who were previously allotted a seat by MCC in NEET PG 2025 round 3 or the stray vacancy round but failed to join the allotted seat are also not eligible.

Step 1: Publication of NEET PG special stray round seat matrix

Step 2: Registration and fee payment
Eligible candidates have to register for the special stray vacancy round NEET PG counselling in online mode. Step 3: Choice filling and locking
After the registration process is done, candidates have to fill their preferences for special stray vacancy round NEET PG counselling. Step 4: Seat allotment processing and announcement of result

Yes, you are eligible. After completing Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology, you can appear again for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate if you have a valid MBBS degree and registration with the National Medical Commission. However, government rules about funding or seat eligibility may vary.
